Damn this thread is really deep and insightful. So much knowledge to be gained.

2 Big blocks of writing. I'll address just the main points as there is quite a lot to reply to. Firstly, @ Trent, while I may be biased it's not that strong. I don't immediately dislike them, etc. I don't judge them either, but an excuse for having tough times as a reason to use pot etc I feel is a terrible excuse as I've been through very tough times myself and never been driven anywhere near any of that. I suppose it depends on the individual however.

@Dimethyl, No need to be insulting. I am basing what I've said here from my observations and from what I've seen the people that use are generally dropkicks, I am not saying that everyone is one however. I feel it's likely a coincidence as there are bound to be people from every race and creedence with varying levels of success etc who use. I respect you saying that you do not support the legalization of marijuana and other drugs. I also do not think that every smoker is lazy and dumb though, I am just slightly biased against them. I feel sorry for your friend, I believe he should have been penalized for the possession of drugs but not as much as what happened. That really is a collection of terrible events however and he is very unlucky.
