White Pride

You obviously made your mind up on this subject so there's no reason to keep talking to you about it. I dont even know why you made this thread if you're not going to be open to others opinion and look at it from their view. You should open your mind a bit more and look deeper than whats present.

Why is it frowned upon to get a Hitler mustache?
Why is the "normal" populace of the United States shocked when one supports the Confederate flag?
& in the same manner, why does one look upon "white pride" as a negative thing?

You can say that you do not support what Hitler did, that the Confederate flag actually meant something else, or that "white pride" is just your way of conforming, but fact of the matter is that it is human nature to judge based off environment, culture, history, etc.

History lesson: Whites overtake India, whites bring slaves to America, whites invade the Moores, whites approve of slaves in America, white Americans view slaves as inhuman.

More recent history: White people bomb Japan, white people secretly provide weaponry for a coup/revolution in Colombia, white people don't allow certain races into the country, white people favor white people only, white people cause segregation, white people start KKK, white people white people white people.

Well you are ignorant if you assume that.
Sure the Egyptians enslaved others, but that was too long ago for it to leave an imprint on us. All of recent history has denoted the white race as negative in the sense of "racial supremacy". Because, as uneducated as it sounds, if you let white people express their pride in whiteness, they will become what they were not too long ago, or at least that is what other races would think.

Why were the Black Panthers/Muslim Brotherhood(african americans) not looked at as such a negative message?? Because they emerged as the "resolution" for the climactic end of the problem of race.

ALSO, please note, that white almost exclusively is the American white population in this case, as Europeans do have a disdain for white Americans, where as other countries have a hatred for white Americans.

 

I havn't made my mind up, just creating an argument for why you were wrong, This thread is for debating. I'll happily hear your argument but your first post did not directly correspond to the question being asked.

 

Great comment. Really can't say much. Although I'd argue against egyptians using slaves(If you are refering to building the pyramids) In recent studies it's beleive pyramid builders were reguarded highly in the general population.

I agree that the overall picture is a hatred towards White Americans in a global scale. No one every really disscusses the predjudice Arabs give White(European, American etc..) people though.

Rarely does anyone discuss the hardships of white people in South Africa either.

However, I do agree with you.

 

Well, I think it's because most of the other races suffer from racism handed out by white people. White people were responsible for slavery and make up the majority of Western culture - the very 'first world' population.

All in all, skin colour's a ridiculous thing to be proud of. Skin is skin, what colour it is shouldn't be an issue. Being proud of your heritage as in what country you come from is good, but skin colour is just ridiculous.

 

I'll only say this once more - White people are descriminated against in numerous countries - South Africa, Arab Nations(Almost all) and various other countries around the world.


As for your second paragraph, I agree but it still happens, it is stupid but it DOES happen.

 

Wait what? Only 17 years ago, blacks were second class citizens, and whites were practically royalty. Have you ever heard of Apartheid? What do you even mean by "arab nations"? The united states is a huge trading partner with almost every arabic country. They don't fuck with white people/foreigners. I guess you could say whites are discriminated against in pakistan/north korea etc. but thats only out of xenophobia (and rabid nationalism).

 

Excuse me? 'Arab Nations' is like me saying 'Europe' or 'Asia' the Arab League if that makes you feel better.
Excuse me, have you ever been to saudi arabia? or for that matter anywhere in the middle east? Didn't think so, I have worked in saudi, and beleive me when I tell you they HATE any westerner and white people in general. They will look down there nose at you, spit at you.

Im no expert on South African history I've just watched a few videos from a really good guy explaining his hardships in South Africa so I cannot comment and will not get into a debate about it.

Even though the OP is banned he seems to be confusing a lot of racial pride with national pride. I am proud to be of Scotch-Irish and Native American heritage.
