Too vague for an answer. What time of product? Target market? etc.

Guerrilla marketing would be the best ,if product is something special what have not been here before. You do not even need TV adverts , because some station , web pages etc will make reports about it if its really interesting ,unique and special ;)..

Television advert, newspaper advert, flyers, word of mouth, internet adverts, publicity stunt, radio advert.

It all depends on the product/business, who you are aiming to sell your product/business too and how much money you have to spend. Do some research online, I'm sure you will find your answer.
