Which Dedicated server package should i pick? read below.

there are different packages for dedicated servers. there have dual to quad core. then there are pro servers which have amd opteron 3280, 8 cores. which one should i get? do i need to get the pro package?

i think the difference in basically in the processor, does it matter what processsor or does it just matter the ram?

also, what format should i get the server in? they have windows and linux, 4 variants of it.

i doubt it will be a waste of money but i am going to wait til optimus. i'm just going to bot alot on my desktop and get the money for more DS's/memberships.

 

When you get a server make sure to get unlimited reboots/restarts.

mmk, anyone know what Operating system i should pick? they save they have windows ubuntu and centos but windows costs more. which ones will work with samba, Robots in disguise, epicbot, powerboat?

 

if you havent used other os pay more get windows stick to what you are best at learning something new by paying isn't worth it , i recommend making a partition on hdd and learn new os before purchasing on vps

 

A windows server is usually $10-$15 more per month than centos and centos is usually better for botting. It is better to just learn centos I have a guide showing most of the set up.

 

few questions kmjt, i loved reading your guide, a while ago i was going to set up gold farming but never got around to it, ermm basicly i see you are pro at it ermm i would be starting out big investing in a server etc etc, just wondering what is the best server hosting in your view also good methods of makeing money per hour + would it be best chooseing a skill to gain the xp in aswell to then sell the gold + account when member used up like you said

i would wait until after the bot nuke to buy a big server, just mass bot on your computer for now is my advice unless you want to be out of alot of money possibly.
