Which branch do you respect most and why?

The Navy, the Seals can do some amazing things and I have a lot of respect for them and the other branches of the military.

 

I respect the marines the most. I know some guys in the marines and they say they've never worked so hard in their life. They describe some of the training things they go through, if I didn't know they were in the Marines I would assume that they've been captured and are being tortured. The Marines work harder than any other branch when they go through basic training, and they do the dirty work out in Iraq

And btw, you left out the Coast Guard

Ha, no. We (Being the ARMY) do the dirty work overseas. And just for your information, we don't have any true combat forces in Iraq any more, and we have since moved back over to Afghanistan.

I just finished ranger school, and I can tell you that it's harder than any training that any Marine will go through, unless they become a SEAL. Two-hundred soldiers drop out of ranger school in the first week, many of them seasoned war vets. I don't want to hear anything about the Marines being better than anyone else, at least not until you have an accurate understanding of what everyone else does. You're just a bandwagon fan. Fuck Call of Duty and the dumb stereotypes it has created.

 

I respect 'em all. And it's a damn shame that everyone has views about respecting each differently. They all play a significant part, or they wouldn't be there..

 

Airforce and Navy is where it's at. I'd say because I belong to a family of war veterans.

 

Navy. More specifically the Seals. They are the most disciplined bunch of them all. Army and Seals both stay in for life, percentage wise. Most of the other branches just want to get a paycheck and leave as soon as possible,

You're honestly comparing Marines and SpecOps guys? Two way different things. Now if we Compare force recon and rangers that'll be a different story.

Being in the army, I would have to say army. If I wasn't in the army I would say either the SAS or the French Foreign Legion

 

They operate under the navy so they pretty much are a part of the navy. But regardless it doesn't really matter.

 

Army - these are the guys that risk there lives on a day to day basis.

 

Are you serious? The seals are more disciplined than the Army? What about the seals at Coronado that just got busted selling AK47s and explosives to Mexican druglords?
I've worked with seals, they are 99% cowboys. I'm not bashing them, I'm just saying they aren't that disciplined.
