Which Aura Should I Purchase?

I have 66K Loyalty points... what is the best aura in your opinion?

 

It all depends on what you do. Do you like PVM? Skilling? Is there a 99 you're about to get? It all comes down to that. But as an 'Overall' Aura, I like 'Jack of Trades' because you have to do 10 different skills in 4 hours and you get an exp lamp, which gives a massive amount of exp in a skill of your choice. This of course can be done once every 24 hours. Hope that helped!

 

I personally like the salvation aura's as I cba with using auras and the wings look alright.

 

Which auras do you already have? Greenfingers can really help with torstol farming, I have T3.

 

get some prayer boosting auras, and the joat is a really good aura (jack of all trades)

 

If you want an aura just for kicks, get the one that gives you the cool wings. as for what other kinds, it depends on what you'd use it for. Jack Of Trades, as mentioned above is great for someone trying to get a max cape/comp cape. If you PvM there's a buttload of auras that help out with damage bonus, prayer saving, and other things of the sort.

 

That sure did, I had absolutely no idea that it came with an experience lamp. What's the experience you receive per 24 hours? EDIT: It's called a reward book, and there's a method on Rune Wiki to complete all 10 skill requirements in order to receive it from Xuan within a minutes time. This could prove to be as useful as striking a medium experience lamp of your choice in SOF which to me makes it definitely worth it's weight in reward points.

 

I like the supreme corruption, looks epic , although the higher tier vampyrism and reverance will definitely help when in combat

 

I am thinking about starting to do more PVM. I am getting 99 prayer and herblore soon. What is the best aura for PVM.

 

Penance is one of the best Auras available for PVM especially when combined with a Divine Spirit Shield. This aura enables the player to gain prayer points equal to 20% of any damage they receive, rounded down. This helps restore Prayer points and significantly decreases the amount of Prayer that is drained when using a Divine

 

I'm surprised knock-out wasn't suggested, anyhow here's my pecking order goes.

1. Vampyrism as it's quite useful whilst bossing due to it's healing effect. Not to mention it stacks with soul split (if you have prayers unlocked and the adequate prayer level) during Slayer tasks. It's a good compensation to soul split as well if you don't have the adequate prayer level and the prayers unlocked which trumps penance and reverence in my opinion.
2. Penance because this is a great alternative but the main factor is how much damage you receive. For instance, if you were take damage generally e.g. overloads. This aura comes in handy during most boss fights as they can hit through prayer. And again, if you have soul split unlocked this will drastically decrease your prayer drain rate. Ultimately it slows your prayer drain rate down, and provides more space in your inventory for pots e.g. overloads as I've said already. From what I understand, this is an effect method against Glacors, TDs, etc.
3. Reverance because unlike Vampyrism and Penance, you can upgrade this aura from 3%-10% within four initial upgrades without the need of a monster, item, or anything else. It's self sustaining to say the least, why I suggested it as #3 is, it's usually a back-up for the other two auras mentioned above. It shares the benefit of reducing your prayer drain rate (same application as penance) whilst using prayer potions, prayer renewals, and super restores. It shouldn't be a question that it is more efficient than the other two in that regard. You'll find yourself benefiting directly from slayer tasks, and PVM in general.
