    Where'd you start?

Where did you start your first official job? I'm thinking of starting at McDonalds (have no other choice as a first job) as my first job in about 5 months from now.

    Where'd you start?

If you mean for anything, then my first ever job was Delivering kleeneze catalogues for my mothers ex which i was paid £10 a day for when i was 15. If you mean a propper job, i was a barman at a night club in my local town center.

I advice you to never get one.

    Where'd you start?

    Worked on a forestry divison.
My best advise is to start pizza delivery. I've heard numbers at about $90 in tips for six hours of work, plus the $6.50 starting pay. Since you're only in this for the money, and not networking or the like, it's your best bet.

    Where'd you start?

Telemarketing. After a few years, you can make upwards of 100K+ per year running your own services/manager

    Where'd you start?

I started my first job four years ago at a local YMCA (fitness center) as an employee in the Youth and Teen department. I worked in the computer lab and gameroom/clubhouse they had in the facility, monitoring kids and making sure they don't kill each other or break the equipment. Four years later, I'm doing the same thing with almost full time hours, and I get to put "assistant director" on my resume (which essentially doesn't mean anything besides I write up and print off the employee schedules for the clubhouse, but it still looks good)

    Where'd you start?

My first job was with a lawn care business, it was decent but I needed something that wasn't seasonal. Then I got hired at a fast food place. I worked there for over 2 years and it was horrible, horrible, horrible.

Honestly, I hope your experience is better but my stint at that place sort of ruined that type of work for me. Lol. I just don't ever see myself working in a place like that again.

    Where'd you start?

I started up as a medical delivery boy, decent pay but wasn't enough to cover the weekly expenses.

The best thing you can do is find a job that will give you an ok wage and that the wage covers expenses and a little bit extra for you to enjoy yourself. Like Stead said about his wage not covering expenses, the Night Club where i worked at never paid for taxi's home at the end of the night so i was having to pay with my own wages for the taxi. I worked it out that over 80% of my wages were going to taxi's which literally left me with enough to get my cigarettes for the week and that was it.

I started work at mARC. Basically what you do there is take care of individuals with intellectual challenges (mental disabilities). Worked there for 2 years, then started my current job at Ralph Lauren Polo.

If your only in it for the money, I recommend a job as a waiter. Its kinda of like delivering pizzas(as someone else suggested) but you won't need a car.

My first job (and the ob I have now) was McDonalds! It is a good place for you to just get the hang of working. Since you usually pretty much do everything from food preperation to front cunter cashier to headset order taking it teaches you a variety of things. At McDonalds you're expected to be a cook, cashier, and maid all for minimum wage haha. Id recomend it as place for yu to stay for a few months and et some start up cash before looking for a better place after you got some work history.

    Where'd you start?

I got a paper round 3 years ago and I'm still doing it. 15 quid per week (monday - friday) for 20 minutes of work each morning, plus about 100 quid of tips from customers at Christmas. I've just taken on another one too, so for about 40 minutes work each morning I get paid 30 quid per week. It's really easy and it means my days are free for whatever I want to use them for. :D

    Where'd you start?

I'm 15 and just got a job 2 months ago at a local restaraunt across the street from my dad's work so I don't need a car. I work as a waiter and get decent tips and my bosses are preety cool.
