Where to buy BTC without a limit?

Hey guys, so I'm new to the BTC scene. And I've been using Coinbase for the past few months, and unfortunately I only had a limit of $150 a week for ages, but my limit has been put up to $300, but I'm wanting to buy more BTC worth more than that. I primarily use Coinbase because it's an AIO for me. I like having my wallet there, and being able to buy straight from Coinbase whenever I need BTC, but I need something else that'll allow me to buy BTC without a poxy limit.

Any of you guys have any recommendations for a scrub like me who's new to the scene?

If you keep buying your max limit of BTC a week on Coinbase, within like 45 days they will increase it to $1,000 a week limit...If you want more than that, I would suggest localbitcoins which has no limit.

You can link your bank account to Coinbase or GDAX, which would raise your limit. However, Coinbase bank account buys take a little bit to show up in your account (I think it's 7 days last I used it); otherwise, GDAX has same day wire transfer. Those are the only 2 I've used and can recommend personally.

I've seen that localbitcoins and gemini are good, but I haven't used personally.

If you plan on owning a decent sum of cryptocurrency (be it BTC, ETH, or alt) I suggest you get yourself a hardware wallet. Ledger or Trezor work, but I highly recommend the Ledger from personal experience. One lesson folks who've been in crypto for a while is, NEVER trust your coins with anyone but yourself. This includes exchanges such as coinbase/polo/bitfinex/kraken, etc. I still remember going through the Mt. Gox fiasco like it was yesterday.

Where to buy BTC without a limit?

I'm not looking to do anything serious BTC wise, I just want to have BTC there to buy/trade with. I'm new to the scene and most of it all confuses the hell out of me. I've been using Coinbase for a few months and they're good, but I have a shitty limit and I need $900 worth of BTC in the next few days for a transaction, but yeah.

I've signed up to Localbitcoins and I'll verify myself on there, but I'm not liking the exchange rates tbh. $900 AUD for $820 worth of BTC :( I just want a reliable wallet that I can use to keep a small amount of BTC currency to trade with here and there, since I prefer using BTC rather than PayPal etc.

Where to buy BTC without a limit?

It's actually very simple! I've bought over 200+ BTC and have a powerseller/buyer badge for all of the purchases I have done on there over the years.

All you do is register an account, click on the payment method you would like to purchase with, sort through the few top sellers that seem to be a good USD/BTC rate, enter the amount you want, click initiate the trade.

^ Here is a little help for ya.

Just make sure to read the right block of text on the advertisement to see if you meet the requirements, some people require ID being sent over with your username on a piece of paper written on it, others will just give you the bank account and you can deposit the cash at a teller and write a specific message on the receipt that they give you, upon uploading the image they should release the coins to you.

It just all depends on what method you wanna pay, I always found cash deposit/moneygram/WU to be the easiest options and cheapest.

Let me know if you need any assistance!

I reccomend Blockchain, Coinbase charges decently high fee's for sending.
Also, keep in mind LBTC is kinda like sythe, only trade with reputable people as you can always be scammed.

He really can't be scammed that easily, the BTC get locked into escrow the second he initiates the trade on LBC, as long as he sends the money to the correct location and saves his receipt for what-ever method, he will always get his funds back. Since he is the buyer, the second he escalates the purchase to support, it automatically locked the funds until a LBC support member views it and makes the decision.

As long as he follows the sellers wishes to the T(i.e... sends to right name, with correct method, amount) then he will get his BTC. It may take a little longer if they decide to try and scam you but you will for sure get your funds.

Just keep the receipt and you will be OK.
