where do you see runescape in 2 yearS?

bots will be banned faster, but there still be a lot of bots. There will be a rise in prices of gold and other items as RWT prices, not in-game. it'll still be alive, and jagex will have a bigger player base than now.

Runescape botting will become undetectable, probably by the hands of RiD, but truly undetectable and at a more affordable price. As a result, gold prices drop to .20c/m.

 

Botting will always be a part of the game. but maybe gp will rise and botting will be more difficult in 2 years. who knows?!

 

time to hoard all rares you can and wait it out. haha

 

The game is terrible already and already is about 50 percent bots. It's pretty obvious only sad dedicated kids who think it will rebound will keep playing and all the rest will be bots. There is no rebounding and Jagex knows it. Why else would they be developing two new mmos.

 

I hope Jagex steps in at some point, maybe they will realize that if they can get rid of the problem they'll start to gain more and more members once again.

 

I give RS half a year before it ends or simply become unplayable ... in fact today's referral update has finally pushed me over the edge to quit.

No, They'll make less money because bots make up 30-40% of members, That's 30-40% less money every month, why would they want to do that?

 

I agree with Superman. In my opinion, Jagex is slowly getting ready to dump this monster. Perhaps they'll leave the servers open and just let the community slowly trickle out, like they did with Funorb.

 

Good summary of what I had to say, content gets diluted (especially minigames).

 

I see it near the end, unless drastic changes occur this game won't be around for much longer.
