1k hours per year? That's just over 2.7 hours per day. I used to bot my main 16-20 hours a day.

 

Aren't they having problems lately? I was actually interested and all I saw on the forums the past 2 days is problems related to the bot.

 

RiD is expensive. With iDungeon Pro I botted well over 100M experience for $10. With RiD that would be hundreds or thousands of dollars.

 

With RiD, it isn't possible to bot Dungeoneering. And anyways, anyone with spare time on their hands could make a screenscraper bot like RiD. It's nothing "advanced". RiD isn't some Java god like people seem to play him out to be.

 

Also their bots suck, good luck getting 5h+ proggys with them l0l.

 

Reflection bots was the best bot, but Jagex nuked it for a reason. Have botted a bit with RID and the bot is okay. I use it for small goals.

yes, they are 100% undetectable, but they had some bans. Makes sense right ?

 

I thought I might point out that Trent! is biased, and is a Mod on RiD

 

If you really want I can set it up for you over teamviewer or give you instructions on how to do it for runescape gp.

 

That is why more than once people have tried to get RiD's mouse movements, and object recognition code. No one is making him out to be a God but he is better than your average java coder you find at other sites. His 1 intent when making a bot was to make it A)Undetectable and B)Future proof. Call me bias but I just call it as I see it.

Goldfarming..let's say you get 500k/hr (frost dragons for example).. which i'm sure is much much more.

so 10 hrs a day thats 5m. now it cost you 80 cents to run that bot.. but you can sell the profit for $2.50

So for the year long..

$292/year using it 10 hrs a day

but if you goldfarmed frosts you would profit roughly $912.50.

So minus the cost of the bot (and that was just using a 500k/hr) you would once again PROFIT $620.50

Go buy yourself a new calculator.

I was using RID before his website started, before he had the user base now, back when he emailed the updates to us very few users, I used versions 1 thru 4 and it was all mind blowing. Now he has gotten huge and more has than just one bot. I used it on 3 accounts and had no problem. It is the safest bot I ever used, and I did use a few other free scripts/paid scripts but I myself watched the bot talk to a JMod in the MTA when they had their mass banning spree on us users circa 2009. Best deal I ever spent on RS, better than getting Mils before the FT was taken the first time.

In his early releases yes but people were not smart (is any bot 100% perfect), when I stopped playing and his releases now? Not that I know of.

So why hasn't anyone done that and/or rivaled him in some way?

 

Yeah, I've botted around 5,000 hours, and only 1800 hours have been RiD, so I'm not biased, I've just had a lot of experience and I talk about the obvious choice from a lot of experience.

I remember hearing when Triggerfinger sold his RiD account way back when. Triggerfinger knows his stuff ^.^

Also, every person I've ever seen that talks major shit about RiD, has never even logged into RiD's bots. If you really wanna have a good idea about RiD, wait until the powerminer gets updated sometime in the next few days, it's free forever, and if you can figure out how to set it up (if not, open a support ticket or post a thread in the help section, and be sure to read the knowledgebase and instructions). You have nothing to lose, since it's free. Mining is a pain in the ass skill, nothing like free exp?

 

Unless you own and make profit from a business, I seriously see no reason why you would need to bot a skill for 3.5k hours.

Ya the system got changed and unlimited users now get unlimited in all of the bots. Man I really had hoped RiD could convince you to go to the forums and offer you a Mod position. Sorry for going off topic.
