Hmm calcing your winning chance comes from years of experience.

Do this; watch wsop frequently, get $10 cash games together with friends as much as possible, and play free games on www.pokerstars.com.

That'll drastically help.

Probably one of the better guides: http://www.learn-texas-holdem.com/beginners-guide.htm

The above guide is for Texas Hold Em poker, which is a different type of poker but very popular - I'm sure you've seen it on ESPN. If you have any confusion you can PM me or simply post here.

I started with a poker odds calculator, and after a while, i found that i knew when to call, when not to.

do find when someone is bluffing, you just have to learn to study the flop, aswell as your hand, and the amount they call

A great way to learn is to check out the following sites, one thing to learn if you are going to be playing online. "where amateurs are turned into pros" > Bank management, http://www.thepokerbank.com/strategy/basic/bankroll-management/.

If you would like any tips, pm me. Can chat more or even play on poker stars.
