Pure clanning discussion - MM closes

After almost ten years of being one of the most dominant and well-respected pure clans out there, the official closure of Mayhem Makers has been announced. What direction do you see the pure clanning community headed?

In my opinion, the glory days of pures are long past. The EOC was the beginning of the end for me, and with the closure of TLP earlier this year - and now MM - I can't see much of a future for pure clanning.

I agree, MM was powerful a clan, Once versed them when both our clans clashed when we rushed the wildy, it was amazing as we won (us 10 vs there like 20+) we just got barraged on barraged, till we like Fuck it, Crossbows and we just destroyed them, even through half there prayer. We made a decent 10m loot from all that .

Aswell, I believe pure pking is dead, but can be revived is all the botters fucked off

About the botter part that was the only reason half the clan had accounts. Most of our accounts including leaders fully botted their accounts or at least until they got banned once.

 

As an ex-member of MM it is sad to see the clan go. Pure Pking is going to shit and I think more and more clan's are going to fall apart into just groups of people who play together and eventually move to other games.

 

You can thank JaGeX for this. It is a real shame, to see nice communities/clans such as MM go like this. As said above, more clans wil crash imo

That's a shame. I wonder who FOE is going to vs ea week now? I left FOE quite a few months ago so that's assuming they were the only two big clans.

 

It's sad to see pking clans go, but jagex changed the game, and it was always going to affect different types of people. Can't they just re-vive the clan on the OSRS server?

 

WHAT THE HELL? MM CLOSED??? No way, that's insane. I remember back when I used to pure clan, I was ranked in CP, played TLP, and AAO god knows how long ago and MM was always those bastards who would crash with 100+ members and just fuck with people.

Sad to see the pure community slowly dying.

 

The pure community is not dying mm and foe are not the only clans out there they might one of the oldest and most known pure clans but not the only ones there's pure clans like sv Eop and rd that are always active. Everybody has a life outside of runescape I'm sure after 10 years of playing mm realized they had to get they're life sorted

 

Why don't they play 07?

 

The majority of pure clans that don't play private servers have played 07 since it was released, including MM.

 

control clan is one of the biggest clans now, along with fi and foe

 

pure clans still play 07

 

Wow RIP MM been around for ages. Is a real loss to the community
