when is a sythe user considered trusted? just like to know you guys/girls opinions on this, eg. someone sells an acc on sythe and says Trusted members only! when exactly does someone become trusted?

 

When people don't mind going first in trades with you and trading without an MM is a bonus.

 

so what your saying is that its up to the user to decide whether another user is trusted, like i could say that you are not trusted,(just an example as i think your trusted) but another user could say that you are trusted. so its personal choice into whether a user is trusted or not?

Does it mean they are trusted? idk, it's up to you to decide - trust is a relationship with either the community or you as a single individual.

No Sythe user is universally trusted, and people can become trusted for different reasons - some for their activities on staff, others for their sales on the forum or their popularity among the spam forum/community, etc – so it's entirely subjective.

When people say they're seeking "trusted" buyers, they're really only looking to exclude the unknown leechers that obviously don't qualify.

 

Trusted users around here expecially in the market are ones who've been around a while, have a good deal of vouches/posts.....usually very well known.

 

I think there's different types of trust, on this site. For example, I run a questing service, so basically all of my vouches are focused around questing. Questing for vouches is a lot more difficult and time consuming than selling pins, or selling guides.
Some people would believe that the more vouches you have, the more trusted you are. This is true to some extent, but it depends on who the vouches are from, and what they are for, so if you have a vouch from Skele_Master about you buying a pin, that doesn't exactly prove you to be trusted.

Well, as Sin said, no user is ever FULLY trusted. There have been "Trusted" users with over 300+ vouches and even Official Middle Mans that have scammed trades, because they were very very large. (Money Wise)

But, it is basically someone recognized by the community for having a good reputation with a lot of trades.

I deem trust with how long someone has been here, how active they are, and the quality of their trades, and how much.

 

Also it can be instinctive on who is a scammer and who is just kinda dodgy.

Honestly if they've got a lot of reputation in general and they're not selling TOO big of a trade then I would trust them.

If not, i'd use an OMM

 

Been around a while, lots of vouches, lots of posts, have gone first, have a good and clean professional look to them. Don't know really, I can't explain it, but I know when someone is trusted.
