When I Grow Up I Wanna...

This thread is for anyone who doesn't already have a job. It's basically; you post what you want to do for a living when you get out of college/turn 18/etc.

I would like to become a Registered Nurse. They basically work 3 days a week, and, with a Bachelor's Degree, make $35/hr. Yes, this is a statistic, I looked it up and found it on a credible site.

What about YOU?

 

Something in the music industry, working for a record label, studio tech, maybe even in a band

 

That's pretty interesting. I've thought about that, but for some reason I just never really "warmed up" to the idea. Good luck.

 

I wanna be a sports pyscholohist. I'm interested in the whole aspect.

 

probably doing engineering, already have all the marks I need other than calc. Hoping that goes well second semester. Probably go to either germany or dubai and make upwards of 100k a year, fuck north america.

 

My To Do List:

1. Finish HS

2. Get accepted into the Harvard University of Law

3. Spend 7-10 years of full-time study at H.U

4.Start my own law firm

5. Live a luxurious life

I've never quite liked a normal life and I like the many aspects of challenges.

 

I want to do engineering also. Im just not sure where i want to go. Im a freshman right now in highschool.

 

Gonna focus on media studies in senior year, something along those lines...

Ive been working with some pilots at an airport.... Wanna be a commercial pilot...

 

I haven't been playing for drums for the past 8 years of my life (since I was 8) for nothing and I wish to do something with that.

Or, like MegaMatt, at least work in the Music Industry. If not, probably the Medical or Science Industries.

I've only been playing for 2 years, but I love 'em.

 

Generally, I don't have a certain direction with my life, but I can find myself working for tech support somewhere (like Geek Squad, except not holding your computer hostage.)

 

Im Currently in High School Australia. I want to become a commercial Pilot ($400k a year :O) I have wanted to become a pilot for 4 years. I have had control of a small cessna and it is fantastic. I also have Flight Sim X which is a realistic game of flying aircraft.

 

I don't really know, but along with MegaMatt and neschn, I would like to work in the music industry. I was in a band for about 2 months and was vocals/bass.

Either that or get into the medical/science field.

I am interested in flying. My dad flew as a hobby for around 20 years. His last plane was a Cheyenne II which is a tubro-prop twin engine. He had to sell it though as it was way to expensive to maintain. Just to get insured after already being a pilot for 20 years he had to spend 100 hours in flight time with a certified Cheyenne instructor, and go to a week long class every year in Florida.

 

To be honest with you, i want to do something that makes me happy. I dont plan on becoming a millionare in my life, nor do I want to. I would like to make enough to be comfortable. I may end up going to a small tech school to become a sales rep for a skate company. The sallary can vary depending on which company you work for, but it rarely goes over 70k a year. 50k is an average. I can't see me end up getting married anytime soon, if it all, so I feel like this would be a perfect job for me. Get to work around something I love.
