Whats your worst runescape day?

Got scammed when whips were 1.7m. the guy tricked me by putting 1.278m or something that looked real similar. back when seers village was packed with people.

 

My worst day is today. I sold my 112 main tank ranger with 52mill and they dropped all the cash recovered there account.

 

Worst day of em all was when free trading and pking were removed... well I'm not sure if they both happened at the same time but those were the suckiest days ever on rs.

2nd bad day must have been when my "mate" told me that he can make me a member if I give him my 2x saradomin armour.. I was like OMG HELL YES!! MAKE ME A MEMBER! and then I gave him the armour.. and quess what? He logged out and left my crying there (this happened in 2004 or so.. and it was my whole bank lmao.)

Another bad day was when I got penalty tricked in old bounty hunter craters and lost bgs.. Well that one didn't hurt so much because I had pked it 2 days earlier

 

was claw rushed in pvp and lost 2.5 mil

 

Long sory short, I was pking, guy ran into the bank, i get pjed, was risking around 60m = gf me.

 

Decided to merch afros. Lost 6m

 

The day I was scammed for full mithril when they asked me if I wanted it trimmed.

 

Im almost lose 9.1M by Lesser Demon cos Im training Mage. then my friend next me he grave gave me other 20 mins to left then i got everything back LUCKY!!

And

When i at school this time i was doing my assignment then im play runescape im bother to do assignment ill done in home then i go to PVP world fight then my teacher came and almost saw im lose my 12.4M value amour im died.

 

oh god, reading all these old stories bring back so much memories.
i clearly remember this, i was in grade 7, it was the winter break of 2004.
i was 12? 13? doesn't matter.

I finally got 60 on my main a week before the break.
and the whole week and my break i was wcing the yews by varrock.
Honest to god, i was on those yews atleast 6hrs a day. It felt like a life time to get 1k yews, when i did i sold them for 220gp each, yes i still remember the prices hahah.

i was saving up for full rune (g) i tihnk it was like 2m back then.
I had a good p2p friend and he told me that in world 2 fally everything is cheaper and he convinced me that he will buy the armor for me if i just gave him the money.

1 week later after i no lifed the yews, which felt like an eternity, i gathered all the money i made and gave it to him. He goes to world 2, hes talking to me still for a bit. and he just then deletes me.. and loggs..
I trusted this guy alot, he was one of my good friends, i still know his name Marlboro7.
OT: went through my mains highscores, he has fredmcgarry as a friend ahah wierd alot of players ranking in the top 10k. i just recently got my main back from being frozen since 07.

Another story is when i finally learned how to scam people by a few decent tricks, like when oak logs use to look like yew logs. you say your selling yews 200gp ea, people flock you wwith trades, all in a rush to get a deal and they dont see its oak. CRAZY PROFITS. Anyways, i made 10m of scamming and merching, which back then was a shit load (phats were 11m - 20m depending on color) i got bored and tried to download hacks, me being an idiot, i download a fucking "hack" form limewire that was named K3y L0gg3r all in leet letters, i didnt notice until i got hacked and 10m stolen gf.

oh and another one is wheni bought members from a friend for my pure , i paid him 1m, this is alot bakc in 05, anyways, 5 days later im banned cause of the visa the kid gave me to use was stolen and shit.. gf pure.

i hope that wasnt alittle to much, those were the 1st two that popped in my head haaha good old runescape days.

 

getting hacked right after my 1st 99 skill .

 

A couple days ago:

Was doing a clue in Khazaki jungle. I dig at my coordinates, and get a shitty reward. I'm sorta bummed but I go "oh what the hell."
Then, my grandma calls me to ask what I want for lunch, and so I have to leave the room for a minute. I tell her, and go back to playing Rs. When I get back, I'm standing in Fally with 2:40 seconds on my grave.
I had withdrawn all my cash and runes for doing the clue, and so it was impossible for me to get back to the jungle in those 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

I had been carrying over 25m in runes, 23m cash, and 4m in other random stuff. Gf 52m+

 

I have a couple:
Getting scammed 2mil (back when Seers used to be packed) when someone pulled the cash away that they were trading.

Getting Lured and losing eveything valuable I had (full sara)

Getting hacked and losing 40mil

Best friend quitting.

Worst story from when I was low level. Granite mauls were still about 1.3m so this was awhile ago. I'm trying to buy one with just random assortments of items and cash. Finally some person nice enough to help a noob out sells me it. I was then wandering in the wildy on a pking world just watching. I get blitzed, so I'm looking around and I see a pure with ancient staff. So hit the special bar and rush him. I skulled, then he switched to dds, and his "luring buddy" rushes with a dds. Died and lost the maul. I find it rather hilarious that it happened.

Another good one is before the trade limit one guy is trading a grog for rune legs, while someone else is buying the grog for 500k. Sold my rune legs for the grog. Never got my 500k

 

The day the trade limit was implemented does seem to be a recurring "bad day" but I bet if it wasn't set in place, there would be more posts about people item scamming. Don't get me wrong, the trade limit is dumb when I want to help out a friend and for when I want to give my other accounts things. But then again, it helps as a reason for those moocher noobs that ask me for money and I just say I wouldn't be able to give them much but like 10k so there would be no point since they can make that in like 3 minutes. And if there was no trade limit I wouldn't be able to come up with a reason to not give "friends" stuff. I just don't want to be rude or mean but my sht is MY SHT.

 

Bumpidy Bump. Just a lil tid bit that makes every Runescape day a little upsetting: Stupid Divine and Elysian spirit shields cost a sht ton and even though I can buy them they won't freggin buy in the GE. And I don't have any rares I am willing to trade for it.

 

The day when I lost like 3m at barrows [long ass time ago] sucked way more then when I lost like 15m a few months back fucking around.

worst of all it was in bh+1 and dragon legs protected over claws. so i got the dragon legs instead of the claws..... i quited that account and started a pure, which owns .

 

A couple.. was tricked into thinking equa leaves were just as valuable as a fury.

then dh'ing with max str bonus at apes at ape atoll, and getting stuck between them, losing around 18M.
