If you could be paid, realistically and practically, for one of your current skills or a skill you'll be obtaining in the near future, what would it be?

I think I'd like to be a writer. I've won a couple short story contests and am working on a novel. It'd be cool to sell even just 20 copies and be an officially published writer.

Well considering I've interned with NASA (which @WhoNeedsAChaser and @Time To Buy called Space Camp -.-) before, I'd like to work with them permanently. Either in chemical or aerospace engineering.

Probably chemical, aerospace engineering is so stressful. You are literally doing math that if computed wrong could have catastrophic consequences. Sure, you have people looking at it and collaborating on it, but that does not ease the pressure. If you're wrong too much you'll be gone real soon.

But it's rewarding, satisfying, and challenging work. It's the perfect job for a mathematics and science geek like myself.

Impressive. I have like two friends studying aerospace engineering and it looks exhausting. Working on the field must be a dream job though.

Anyways, as for myself I would love to be either a pentester or work in Network Security for some bank. Only problem is that its hard to jump into sec straight out of college with no experience so im just IT atm.

I wanted to be a veterinarian, but that goal fell short a while ago. I'm still not sure what I'd consider a dream job for me.

I'd want to be a writer too. My goal is to at least finish one book I've started and have a real copy made for myself.

I'm honestly uncertain but if I were forced to make a decision right away, i'd say a therapist.

I'm doing graduate school for forensic psychology. so I would say criminal profiling majoring in crimes against children. I thought about trying to get in the US Marshalls but the hiring process can take years.

    What's your (realistic) dream job?

Eh.. I haven't really figured it out yet. Currently contracting under a company doing governmental work and it's likely I'll land in government work or stay in academia before getting into politics (possibly both).

My goals are likely considered unrealistic by many, but yeah, planning on politics in the long run. Short term, I'll either pursue a doctorate after I finish my masters and teach/research or I'll do governmental work, or both.

You're still working on it? You could make it an e-book and post it on sythe, I love reading and wouldn't mind checking out a sythe's user work :)

I'd love to make great videos on the internet (anything but p*rn videos obviously...)

I have no idea. I'd be happy with any job that is not soul-sucking and pays decently.

Owning/renting property is the long term realistic goal of mine, it will take a great amount of start up cash but I am working my hardest towards making this a reality.
