Actually I guess this could count. I learned quickly to change my paypal from my real name because some guy who use to do some powerleveling for me exit scammed and I messaged him something like "Go suk dik fgt scammert". Next day find out he has made a Sythe profile with just my real name and facebook profile picture. Had to get admins to delete that account. Threatening to tell my family and friends things etc. etc. I've also changed my facebook name to this day, and that was 2 years ago.

Death threats or my favorite "Man, when I find this guy in real life he is gonna pay" are constant in the RAS section and always make me grin

Some big exit scams I remember plank gang ($10k+), azie (administrator or global mod can't remember, also $10k+)

The Azie one especially upsets me because he was so trusted. He sold 10+ max mains, ironman accounts 2k+, etc. that were his "IRL" friends. I don't even know what the real story is but pretty sure this nerd just recovered all of them. Could have been workers but everyone with a brain knows to create accounts from your own IP addresses lol.

 

someone tried to sell me an account with too much ban and mutes record lol

 

I think my first trade on sythe ever. Trusted some guy based on his forum posts to do some crafting levels on a rune pure I was making. Not only did he clear my bank(crafting supplies) but he also setup the account botting at rock crabs and leveled the defence beyond repair & the attack.

Was a messy scam report as mods knew him and bias played a big role (we both got banned im sure)

 

Some of the life stories, ranging from suicide attempts, girlfriend/wife issues, even murder attempts, I've seen in the community pages..

People sometimes share too much.

and sometimes people really need to just talk to people.

 

My wildest story is seeing Sythe users pay for E-girls

What did people get arrested for?

 

@Blupig I'm right there with you, for the most part. 13-14 years on here active on and off, we've seen some wild shit.

 

There are three that I remember.

1. Oogabooga for robbery with a firearm, battery, and drug possession (a small amount of weed but the US is crazy about that shit). Nobody felt bad for this guy, he'd been hacking people's Skypes and Sythe accounts for years then scamming with them. Affected a lot of high profile people.
2. Someone who I won't name (because I consider him a friend and idk if this is something he tries to keep secret) but he spent 2 years in prison for possession of illegal firearms, also in the early 2010s.
3. Cruel__machine was for child porn, not sure if he was ever arrested but he fled the US afaik until things blew over. Not sure if he was caught if/when he came back.

There were one or two others but I don't remember who or what for. They weren't for anything crazy. Marijuana possession and stuff. I know there were a few times that people who got scammed on here for large sums were actually successful in pursuing charges if they had enough proof.

 

Long story extremely short, I was successful in fleeing from a car chase. Didn't want a ticket. Happened years ago

Well, I was talking in the Sythe Discord chat. Suddenly a user shared a website with me where you could hire E-girls to play games with you for like $1-10 each Uhr. So I've checked the site out and the girls just moan in voice chats what you can listen. So after that, I had my laugh, but then he showed me his Paypal transaction showing he actually hired those girls, I've never known this was possible and that one would do it tbh. but their are some crazy people out there.
