    If cancer was cured...

Wouldn't that be a bad thing? Our planet is pretty overpopulated as it is, and guess what kills off millions of people each year? Cancer. If cancer was cured, our population would skyrocket, causing even more problems, if not making life worse for everyone else, since living conditions would probably get worse and worse as the population continues to grow. Sometimes I wonder if they actually have found a cure for cancer, and they just haven't released it.

I know this is a really dark way to look at this, but we kind of do need cancer.

Yeah, you're probably right. But if Cancer was curable we would probably end up with some kind of other disease that would kill just as many people. It's a really nasty thought though.

That's actually the way I think. People always call me a nazi and shit because I'm part German and say the Holocaust was a good thing... It's dark to say, but the world needs a good genocide every once in a while. I don't agree with ending a human's life for no reason.. But ya know what I mean right? Think, if all the genocides in history didn't happen, if there were no wars, what do you think the world would be like right now?

To be honest I wouldn't mind if we were all to disappear/die one day. We're of no benefit to anything, we hog and consume resources that can normally be renewed in a cycle, destroying what's around us. We're all leeches and parasites, and require a cataclysmic event for us to change our ways (even then, 100 years after, we'd go back to what we were before).

Humanity sucks, give it all the cancer you want

Our world isn't overpopulated. People want to live as long as possible, so curing cancer would be a good thing. We don't need cancer to die we would die some other way. No one's hiding the cure from cancer.

Come on guys this is common sense.

So you're saying that just because an individual cannot truly benefit others, death is justified?

That's being a bit more rational, in my opinion.

Nobody deserves to die just because they are unlucky enough to be diagnosed with cancer. I don't get your argument. Why do criminals deserve to live while those that are diagnosed with cancer, with no criminal activity or any malicious activity to deliberately bring about cancer, be given an almost death sentence? Wouldn't it be more rational to heal all the sick, kill all the criminals?

It certainly makes more sense than witholding a cure for cancer. They criminals don't benefit us at all so why should they get to live.

Technically, aren't I a criminal? Are you basically saying I should be dead?

You think the Holocaust was a GOOD thing? There's nothing you can say after that to justify that statement. You're messed up.

I believe eventually earth is going to become over crowded, and yes, cancer is slowing that down. But so is AIDs, War and all sorts of things. If it wasn't for cancer I think there would maybe be some other incurable disease(s).

    Hooray for cancer.

I'm not claiming to agree or disagree with his statement, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Of course he's entitled to it; I'm just saying he's sick for thinking so. There was nothing "good" about murdering 6 million people.

People who die from cancer is really nothing compared to the people who starve to death.

I think it was 6 million Jews, then another million or so others. I was using that as an example. I've got nothing against Jews... I just personally think a genocide does the world good every few hundred years... Though I personally don't agree people should be killed. Maybe people should stop having like 4 kids, yeah?

    But eventually it will.

I believe the world has increased from 1 billion people to a staggering 6 billion people, in just 2 centurys.

Think of it as this, if you have cancer in your family, then most likely someone in your family has passed and left a loved one alone, and if they remarry that could of came to someone else. it's a giant chain that can't be stopped.
Cancer is not good nor bad, it's just something that has to be dealt with.
