What's the most efficient/ fastest method from fresh to maxed melee?

Hey guys,

I'm planning to start off a new account after 7 years break from RS, and I'm just wondering what would be the fastest or the most efficient way from 1/1/1 to 99/99/99? Assuming that I will buy GPs to fund the account. A quick outline of what monsters and what items I need would be fantastic.

I posted a thread asking a similar question. The answers i got back were:

1) Rock crabs / Sand crabs
2) NMZ


These seem best applicable.

 

Sand crabs to 70/70/70 then NMZ using Obsidian Amor Set/Max Str until around 90+HP then using Dharoks

You could always chin the defence if you're mega wealthy too

 

As said above, sand crabs to 70s, then nmz with whip/bludgeon, then dharoks when 85s imo

 

Dharok’s scales from HP not stats and max strength gives better xp/h until 90+

 

Rock crabs->Ammonite crabs->Nmz. Voilà!

 

Pretty much what everyone said above, I did a lvl 3 to max combat stats in roughly 3 months. I did waterfall quest, nmz quest, crabs to 70/70/70 then Dh'd all the way to 99/99/99

 

I remember a few years back dagganoths with noted food you could unite the food at general store upstairs was epic exp bitter from 70-79-70 to maxed in 2 months

start with few quests to get exp
then sand crabs to higher stats
and then nmz to 200m xp
