For the PS1, i'd have to agree, either to that or Final Fantasy VII.



Gba: None really, they all suck ass .

PS2: A game I once had, I think it was called time-zone, or time-warp something around those lines.

gba: Only games I ever really played on a hand-held system were Pokemon.

 

Final Fantasy VIII's gameplay was better than FFVII's - the junction system is brilliant and makes for better battles. The story for FFVIII's is also a mix between science-fiction and fantasy that is really quite hard to come across by without having it fail miserably. FFVII was good, but not as good as people make it out to be.
