What's Runeland?

I remember it was on the thread " Everything you need for RS cheating", but its not there anymore, it got edited recently.

I remember downloading the client and it was like old RS style, I thought it was a bot, apparently it wasnt.

So everything was sketchy looking, so i logged on with my newb account. I accidentally typed in the wrong PW and it logged me in anyways on a lvl 3 account, when my original account was lvl 25.

I started with 5m a few thousand arrows, sharks, and runes and the cows @ lumby were like lvl 9999 so if you kill one you gain levels extremley fast.

I thought it was cool at first, but then i still didnt understand the actual purpose. It is an alternative in runescape? because the stats you gain on the client dont stay when you loggon to modern RS, at least i dont think so..

So...what is it?

Someone said that MrQuarter put a botnet in it but it wasn't backed up.
I played it for a bit, I would have kept playing but you have to pay $3.33/month for the good features >.>

 

Its a overpopulated private server. Its all safe though.

 

There's several good private servers, but they're underpopulated. The overpopulated ones aren't good.

I remember it was froogoo scape that had 2 worlds, one for cheating, another for legit. About 2000 players are on each of the worlds, so it's almost like the real runescape.

 

I know but I found it halarious...

 

It's a private server. You basically do what you normally do on Runescape, except PK a lot
