What's changed in RS?

Last time I played was around 2006 or 2007. Forgot. But I heard Wildy got taken out (Uber bummer), and something about how the new trade system is gay. I don't get how accounts these days that don't have 99 in every skill sells for so much. Back in the day if I remember correctly most 126 (max level then) had 99 in everything. Did it change so that it's harder to achieve 99? Also does Guthix stuff still sell for a couple mill as in 2. How much money do you have to have to be considered "rich", I had 53 mill back then and I guess I was "rich".
Old graphics are still better imo.

 

With new PvP; one lucky drop is like 5M.
Soul wars killed oldskool leveling, and it's pretty fast.....everything is controlled by jagex.
Trade limit is about max 50K if you have every single quest point.
Jagex controls full prices and buying/selling, though the new "G.E" doesn't buy or sell ANYTHING, the whole game is shredded to bits, going down the drain.
Just my opinion tbh...but this is all true.

 

Sounds so VERY fucking BORING now.

 

It is a different kind of game; the old game was too confusing for new players these days, I would have to say. But if you want to gain an advantage through intelligence now, you're stuck.
A recent shop update also messed up the whole trading system and you can't buy anything anymore.

 

And Jagex right now is catering to their assumed 10-year old community.
Some of these events and things are just so sad..

Major crash atm, Overrated "wildy", Pure jackassery I tell you. Just be f2p for a while and see how you like "runescape".

 

Damn right. Even the graphics makes players heads look round and over sized which makes them look more childish, more like a 10 year old kid. And whats with the new emo, mohawk hairstyles? And the way the NPCs talk now. Back then the NPCs talked in a way that made you feel like yuo were in a medieval world. Now the NPCs try to be cool and hip and use words like pwned etc etc.

 

"Sounds" You should play it, then you'll know whats boring

I would say a benefit to the new runescape is that there is less Pjs in the pvp worlds, i havn't been rushed since the new pking worlds came out.

 

Oh, it seems people forget.
Since the new updates, everything related to combat is now crashing.

 

Yeah they would improve game and they are making it easier and easier to play with stupid updates
