What would you do with....

I'd finish high school and pay for my college tuition. Then I'd probably donate some to various charities and use the rest to travel.

 

at the people who say the tax is quite high, thats based on the income of the property. Not 48% tax on the lottery winnings, as all winnings from a lotto are non-taxable. and no-one has won the jackpot so it has now reached a total of £117,000,000 or ~$186,778,800 damn o.0 xD

and id still finish uni, but i had to laugh at the solid gold toilet, i think id get one myself xD.

@ Rune Tycoon: i know it is your own opinion, but wiping your ass with $100 bills is just stupid, yea there would probs be 1,000's of interest income per day but why waste money. If you were to do something like that then why not donate to charity instead.

 

It's just a saying I've heard people use when they refer to filthy rich people. "He's so rich I bet he wipes his ass with $100 bills." That wouldn't feel very good >.>

 

Ah boy, that's a toughie. I would have to trust 99% if it to my dad, to put it in a bank account or something for my future. I know that, if I had that much money, I would go out and just completely waste it all.

With the remaining $1.67 million dollars, I would keep 10% for my personal pleasure, set aside a good amount (~$200,000) for college, give 10% to my parents (with much more to follow, obviously), and donate the rest to my church/community.

 

After taxes you would be lucky to have half that money left. Hypothetically if I walked away with that much I would buy a nice house, 2 cars (one for me and my girl because I rock it player style), I honestly don't know if I would continue my stay at college because I'd have enough money to sustain me and my family for generations. To keep the profit rolling in I would probably buy houses and rent them out like OP. I'd sell them when the market is in tip top shape and buy again after it dipped. Maybe do some stock market, but that is some risky business.

 

Like mentioned above, all winnings on the lotto are UN-TAXABLE.

You can not get taxed on lotto winnings, just only on the interest it makes.

 

Go to the casino, and put it all on Red.


I'd put half of it in the bank.

Give some away to my family so they can have an even better and more comfortable life. Then splurge as I please.

Definitely a Lamborghini.
A few penthouses available for rent when I'm not using them.
Brand name accessories, clothing, appliances etc.
A nice boat with someone to maintain it.
I'd probably try to start up some charity, in order to do something.


Meh, a few things.

 

I'd pay Sparc Mac to quit RS. (I dislike him, lol.)
Probably start up a pie factory so I can have unlimited pie whenever I wanted..
And donate 1\10th of the money to Sythe.

Here's what I would do:
1. Set aside $1M in each of 5 different currencies/assets for a fallback.
2. Donate about $1M anonymously to my favorite charities and causes.
3. Give away my goldfarming operation to a friend who needs money.
4. Hire a professional to manage the rest.
5. Donate $100 to sythe and give up Runescape and the black market here.
6. Actually allow myself to enjoy eating out once in awhile.
7. Proceed normally in life without telling anyone for now.

 

Its kinda sad but i gotta tell the truth i would spend atleast $10k on Rs.

Be that as it may, I would spend way more than that...

 

I'd keep what was needed for me (about 10M), have enough so my future kids don't have to work (About 20-30 Million), buy a nice house. (3-4 Million), and then donate the rest to charity.

 

300 investment properties at 500-550k each, bringing in 550-600 a week. roughly 9mil a year income (5mil after tax) 2mil for an o/occ home + contents and a car.

build up from there putting more money into more properties.
Should be enough to look after my kids, kids, kids etc etc etc

 

I'd keep a small fraction of the £105M that would help me solidify my future's security so I don't end up living on pension money, with the rest I'd try my best to help the people who are forced to live without the basic things in life such as an education, which ultimately carves a persons future. Also health care and clean water.
