What would you do if all the bots stopped working?

Hey guys, I was reading Jagex's latest update on bots and while I think it's bullshit I couldn't help thinking of a Runescape without bots. So I wanted to know what you would do if all the bot clients/scripts stopped working forever?

Personally, I think I'd enjoy the game a lot more and I'd probably play more legit. That said, I'd also throw away my dreams of having a completely maxed account

 

I'd smash my computer onto the road and commit suicide.

 

I've personally lost interest in the game and only find joy in acquiring things that not many other people have.

There's no way I'd go back to clicking the same thing over and over for hours just to get a level or gp.

I'd definitely just quit if I couldn't find a way to make any of my bots work.

Really, the only reason I still enjoy playing is because I like writing my own bots and watching them work.

 

For some reason I liked the grinding part of RuneScape when I was younger.
Maybe I would enjoy it again if they removed bots entirely, but more than likely I'll quit.

 

Yeah, I think I would enjoy rs again if there were no bots. Nobody would have advantages over you and it would bring back the competitive spirit.

 

I'd probably quest every now and then really I'd quit.

 

It would be like old times cept still not the same. I'd probably play every now and then

 

RS changed too much, I'd probably play legitimately with my bots for a bit and end up selling them and quit.

 

I'd probably sell my accounts.

OT: I'd just sell all my accounts and call it quits, I haven't played this game legit since Spring 2009, and have been botting since Free Trade came out.

 

I would invest my college fund in gp and resell when it went back up to ~$1/m

Well I know that when Idung went down after the RS update on October 4th, it was down for 2-3 days for most people and people were going NUTS. They had no idea what to do with themselves without being able to bot dungeoneering lol. So I am trying to imagine if suddenly all bots stopped working... I think it would be complete and utter chaos in the Runescape cheating community for weeks, people would quit, goldfarmers wouldn't know what to do and would start whipping the chinese kids working in the factories so that they would goldfarm legitimately, and half of RS would fall apart. I am only slightly kidding here lol.

As for what I would do - I would probably continue to play for a bit legit and see where the game went. If it turned back into that old 2004/2005 community that it used to be, and the game actually became fun again, I would probably continue to play legitimately on my main and enjoy RS without all the bots hogging all the cash and crowding training spots. However, if the game totally died or too many people quit, I would most likely just sell of my RS gold and accounts, and try to make whatever cash I could out of the game before I walked away again. Lets hope it doesn't come to that though... I am just getting started in the world of botting and personally, I love it!

 

I would actauly properly play the game again instead of just coming on for the occasional Gwd or tds with friends, it would be nice to be able to achieve something on this game again like the good old days..

 

I woudlnt play at all. I only bot, lost intrest in rs.

 

See the RSGP finally rise in price , but I would just go play on my main as I did before botting.

 

I really highly doubt that Jagex is going to do, so we are unable to bot.

Also if that actually happends, they would only make minor/heavy changes, wich doesnt requires to create a new client for us.

Thats my opinion tho, as they earn alot of money on us.

 

If that did happen gold prices would sky rocket. I'd sell the bit of gold I have

 

It'd probably go back to the fun. The only reason I bot is because I can't talk to someone while grinding for hours, knowing that the guys beside me are bots.

 

Probably rage quit.
