what were you doing on 9/11 when the tragedy happened?

5th grade (10 years old); about 15 minutes before I left for school it was on TV. I remember a lot of the kids speaking of what happened at morning recess, and I'm sure there was announcements that day, I can't remember clearly. I didn't think much of it at that point, being that age, but now, its way different.

 

I was 8 years old, wow, I only remember my teacher told me some maniac blew up the twin towers. Also, I remember, the pizza ate while I was watching tv.

 

I was at my grandfathers house in Oregon on vacation.

I was in 5th grade. My dad came into the room, I figured it was for my brothers birthday which is September 11. We got in the car and drove home, they didn't talk about it until we got home.

Then yeah, ate fucking cake on September 11th.

 

I believe that you missed the fact that the black box didn't survive the fire even though it is made of the toughest material man can use

 

i was in grade 2-4 i believe and our teacher turned on the radio to hear what happened and then school was like evacuated in case of another terrorist attack.

 

I was playing rs, pking . I was in grade 4 at the time, and remember that I pked full rune that day, and hell that was quite a bit back then.

I remember we were at the house of my moms friend, and suddenly, we saw planes crashing into buildings on the news.

I was in 3rd grade and the older students of the school went to church to talk about the attacks that just happened and my sisters were part of the older classes, but they didn't send the younger ones since they were too young or would get it or something like that. So when I was riding home my sister told me a plane was Hi jacked, but I didn't know what it meant lol so when we got home I saw on the news a bunch of rubble and until I saw the replays of the building getting hit then I realised what happened.

 

I was in 3rd grade and when the teachers/school found out about what happened we were sent home. I remember seeing smoke from the windows....

i was sitting on my mum and dads bed ( Australian, it was like 8 am ) in the 3rd grade i think and we heard it on the radio so we turned on the tv. EVERY channel had coverage. was pretty scary and i was thousands of KM away
