what was your biggest fail in runescape?

back when staking was up like 2 years ago, made like 380m in 2 weeks of mage staking, and bought myself purp phat it was 200m back then and alota stuf and a lvl 78 tried ta mage stake me with 84 mage ( i was lvl 120 with 99 def and mage) he staked 200m and i stake 380m, and as soon as we accepted i fully lagged ta shit outa my comp couldnt click anything, logd in again GG bank, quitted for 2 yrs, now back and got 3b+ bank

 

Hah, yeah I did the same thing a couple of years ago. Bought 3 @ 15M each & sold for 30M each some time later.

 

uhm .. Getting defence? lmao!

 

forgetting to set a pin -.-; and loose my bank when i got hacked lol..

 

dropping my first 50m on the ground to see what it would look like. During an electrical storm.

 

Probably what happened yesterday. I was selling some stuff in the G.E (PvP world) and then went to run to edgeville bank. I completely forgot I was in a PvP world, I had ~15m in my inventory. As you can imagine, I ran out of the G.E and got killed. I was so annoyed that I hadn't realised..

Sold a blue halloween mask for 1m after picking it up from a bot dieing.

 

Selling partyhats for 20k each in RSC.

 

Done some pretty stupid things but biggest Fail has got to be when i was like level 90 and must of been like 12-13, had just got my whip thought i was balling, some kid started telling me i could clone it by dropping it and pressing alt+f4, i did it, he stole ma whip :'(

I've always been a bit of a safe player, never taking huge risks, always having a Ring of Life, etc. The two occasions which do come to mind is being in the middle of fighting Elvarg in Dragon Slayer then accidentally closing the tab holding RuneScape in my web browser. I came back to find myself dead with only a Rune Scimitar, Addy platebody and Addy legs left. I also once fell for an account trimming scam. (Lost full Mithril ;P)

 

when i was 9 I had Rune B axe Rune Chain And Rune Legs, went into the wild and attacked someone, thought i kept them all but i was skulled.. :'(

 

Getting scammed 4 times in a row with the rune to iron scimitar scam.

 

Spending 10m on 'red gloves' thinking they were dragon :/

like 4 years ago swarm attacked a guy who had green hmask and killed him (it was World 1, lots of people were there) and dropped this mask, but unfortunately I wasnt quick enough to pick it :S

 

Botting with my blue mask and waking up to see i had died.

 

Also heres another one..

I scammed someone by accident traded them 20k magic logs for a dragon chain

went bank to the bank and found the 20k magics there but my 20k willows were gone..

 

I was in varrock square by the fountain, I had gotten 50k, which was a lot of gp for me back then, and I'm guessing rsc 2002 in general.

I wanted to buy a rune baxe. To my delight someone traded me, and actually switched to a mithril baxe, which I did not notice. Needless to say, I was one pissed 9 year old boy, and started flipping out both on runescape, and irl.

Not that bad.

The other would have to be when I tried to log on account many many years after inactivity, only to recover and discover that someone else had been playing, ineffectively may I add, and my green mask was gone. They probably got the pasword when I tried to "beta test" rs2 on a site found through google lol.

I feel bad for most of you, who have actually suffered.
