Let's say they can get away while This is a pretty tough question, and pretty hard to answer. It seems to me, that it's pretty much 50-50 when you're dealing with someone. I suppose it's nearly about the personality, not even about being trusted or stuff, I'm pretty sure there are guys who wouldn't scam for 500$ even if they are newcomers. But if it's about 1500$, they might steal the money and get away. As we've seen really trusted ones and mods scam for not more than 1000$, I'm pretty much interested in what you think of this as opinion on this might be different for everyone.
Does everyone has their price to scam? I'm afraid many guys does. But luckily not all, scamming is just not worth it, just because of the fact that someone has been ripped off really hard, their conscience will not let them get away.

I don't really know if I'd say this is SFA material. This isn't much of a debate and I cannot argue about another persons' morales.

Some people have a price, others do not. It comes down to your personality & values. There are people I can think of that I know wouldn't change their values for any amount of money (whether being paid/scamming/whatever).

I don't think companies like R2P/Arcus have a price. They have been trusted with hundreds of thousands of dollars. Sadly, some people do :(

*most people. And of course, Arcus found out that being trusted is a really nice investment, he's making now thousands of dollars while the others who joined the same time as him and scammed for 50-100$ lost their chance

Some people do, some people don't; it's nothing more than that. Some hold moral values that they wouldn't leap over, others do not.

I'd say 95% of all users that have ever registered in Sythe sadly do have.

Disagreed, you have to take the circumstances into calculation too. For example, djweasel scammed as he had debts to pay so he chose this way to escape the problematic situation. I'm fairly sure he'd never have scammed just because he wanted to gain some easy bucks

It's basically almost the same question of for how much you'd give up your princliples. Most of people tend to scam for really high amounts of money if or if they need be to pay a debt or etc.
Has anyone asked djweasel, pen and plznate why they scammed? They could have just earned more money by staying legit and trusted member of sythe

This is just a thread of people admitting they would scam. It's not something one should think about. I'd like to think people don't have a scam price. Letting greed take over morals sucks.

I think it would depend. Not on sythe but more in general. If you have to chance to scam a lot of money from someone who did you wrong/doesn't deserve it. I think more people would do it.

But as in scamming few $100 or even few thousand. I personally don't think it's worth it. I would feel really bad, and I believe that you would pay for it later (bad things happen, .. ).

Also everyone who says they would scam at a certain point should be banned (trollface)

I think everyone has a price but I'd never do it, wouldn't be able to sleep at night with the guilty conscience.

Exactly the same applies to me, it's just wouldn't be worth it not to be able to sleep and feel bad about it. I'd rather earn some legit money constantly than scamming someone

Very very very few people don't have one and others won't scam just because they're already profiting a lot. So I guess someone that has already quitted all their businesses will be even more tempted to scam because they already don't have anything to lose

As we have unfortunately seen some really trusted ppl saying hi with scamming, you're absolutely right. Even staff members were surprised about pen/plznate being banned :/

If someone's a 1000$ donor, why would they scam? even for 1000$? If they could just MM a service for 10% fee of 1000$, which is already 100$ earned legit
