What to use at 60?

What weapon should I use to train at 60 attack? Preferably without having to do any quest.. and what armour pieces without having to do a quest? Keep in mind I am botting.

 

from what attack level? use a rune scimmy if your 40 attack and at 50 attack you can use a leaf bladed sword but im not sure if thats better then a rune scimmy

 

I do believe he said AT, so a brackish blade - it's the same as a dscim but uses stab instead of slash.

I don't believe that you need to complete a quest to wield the brackish blade. To wield a dragon scimitar you need to have the quest 'Monkey Madness' completed

 

Yeah, go with the brackish blade, or a dragon longsword. (need to complete lost city though)

 

you need to do the quest requirements for monkey madness before 59 attack or you will be using a dragon scim with 61 attack

the quest requirements for monkey madness give attack xp

 

Alright.. any armour suggestions at 60? And even 70 and so on.

 

60/70 defense ?

 

Theres something like ruby machete or smth around those lines, heard its good to reach 60 too.

 

You should list your stats, would make this easier. At 60 defence you can use dragon armor at 70 barrows is available.

 

I am 60/60/60 going for 99/99/99.

 

use a brackish blade(no quest reqs cost 700k)and dragon armour(what every pieces u can afford)

 

Brackish blade, Obby shield/cape, Regen bracelet and glory/fury. D med, granite plate and drag legs. Then move onto a whip at 70, i find that's the best setup to bot a staker with.

And to my post above, I did read what you said and said brackish blade as it's quest free.

Just do you know, doing a quest/paying for quests will DEFINITELY pay out in the end for combat.

Also, saradomin sword is very good once you're 70 attack, I'd shoot for that pretty fast. Bandos armor is the best choice if you can afford it up there.

 

So at 70 saradomin sword is better then a whip?

 

Sara sword is very good for getting strength levels. I say you just get a whip after 70 attack and use controlled so you level all melee stats equally since you are maxing it out.

 

Brackish blade and at 70 I'd just use a whip.
