What to do with this obby mauler

This is my first one so I'm not sure what to do with it, and before you start I will NOT get attack up/prayer up/make it a zerker/get ancients/any other stupid shit that always gets posted.

I need to know what gear to get or if what I have now is good (I'm working on getting a zerker neck)

I'm not sure what to range with, I was using rune knife but they don't hit that hard. I plan on getting 99 str and 70 range.

 

pretty nice start, you could range with mage short bow, or even rush with dbow then hit with obby maul

 

Rune C'bow into Maul for lower levels, then once you hit 80+ range you can start using Rune Knives.

 

Just what you are wearing, but you could change it.

Glory > Zerker neck (as you said)
Cb brace > Mith gloves

Then you would rock

Amulet: Glory / Zerker
Weapon: Magic shortbow + Obby maul
Legs: Red d'hide chaps
Ring: Recoil
Boots: iron boots
Hands: Combat brace

Get enemy to like ½ hp, then spec with magic shortty, and then maul

Helm: Bear Mask ( same stats as black full helm )
Amulet: Glory / Zerker
Body: Iron platebody
Weapon: Red Topaz Machete / Obby maul
Legs: red d'hide
Ring: Recoil
Boots: Iron
Hands: Combat brace

 

If you want an obby mauler get it 99 str/range...or go for 40 att 99 str 99 range for an amazing f2p pure

 

I think the point of an obby mauler is 1 attack.

Fishing: 80+
Mining: 80+

Good cash, and levels.. Be an ultimate ranger rusher..

 

Which this account has. I really don't get the point of your post. It pertains nothing to what I said or what his thread is about. In my eyes it is nothing but spam or flame bait.

get 85 range 85 mage dt done, and get 50 att and rest str. ull be around 65 cb ish

 

Learn to fucking read.

 

I recommend getting 61 range, for the dragon bolts (e), it'll help out massively. Range them with the bolts, then switch to your obby maul after a really good hit.

Once much higher range, use rune knives - obby maul.

 

Personally I use dragon darts over rune knives, it may just be me but I seem to hit better/more often. And if I remember correctly you don't want to have TOO high of a range level, because then the range will start lvling your combat.
