What to do with pure?

I have been making a Blitz/G-mauler pure for about a month. So far it has 40 attack (I will get up to 50 after I finish DT. I currently only need like 20 more thieving levels and then I can do all the quests needed before it including it), 85 strength (going for 99 eventually), 1 defence, and also like 56 magic (will get 82 soon). I want to know if they are good pkers and what armor I should wear on it.
Eventually when my pure makes enough money from pking/bhing I will make it into a zerker. Can someone post some good zerker stats so I will know what I am going to try to get. Thanks for any help .

Not too sure on zerkers, but G maulers you would obviously need your maul. A good ammy to use is glory, and I typically lie to wear black D hide to thwart all the farcasters/rushers. Ring if recoil, and climbing boots for strength bonus. Skill cape if you have one.

 

Alright but I will not be able to use black dhide. I am going to stay at 20 range (quest req) until I decide to make it into a zerker. Like I said earlier, I will be using ice blitz then gmaul specing them. Does that work well?

 

Ya it works pretty well, but it is worth it to get the 70 range for D hide, since it gives very good mage defense.

 

If you're blitz specing with maul it might be worth the time to go and get Ghostly Robes. I think you get this from a miniquest leading off from DT (correct me if I'm wrong). These robes give really good magic offensive for a pure and you get them for free. Tip: when you collect each piece if you have one banked/in invo the guy won't give it to you. The trick is to talk to him for your robe piece (hood/cape/top etc), once recieved drop it on the floor, /repeat until you got about an invo full on the floor. Now you just pick them all up and go bank them and you don't have to visit him again until you're out of robes. Also yeah the essentials for a pure is str ammy, climbing boots and mith gloves.
