What should I do first in Rs3?

The title says it all, I want to create an account on rs3, haven't played since eoc came out. What should I do first, and what stats should I aim for as a short term goal, keep in mind I plan on being a main.

 

As short as i can advice, start with the small quests and work through their requirements... this should keep you busy for weeks while gaining levels in many skills as possible... I am pretty sure it will be members since you are making it your main, so once you get sufficient combat skills,start slaying.. I got 99 range-mage-str-def-att from simply building my bank and doing slayer... its fun too!

Start off with some quests for new features and/or gaining experience. If you're going to be member try doing slayer and get your combat stats higher - go for 99 slayer.

 

I say join a clan first. They can help you out a lot with bosses, etc. I'd probably start out by doing some low-leveled moneymakers to buy gear, and just training up via methods located on rs wiki. Then, skill & boss . Have fun!

 

Everyone will say Slayer but honestly thats one of the worst things you can do. I'd say runespan then you can get the rc level to make your own runes for mage

 

Try to slowly get a feel for the game, as it is quite different. Have a friend get you some iron armor, some range and mage gear, and get a feel for the 3 combat styles. Try it for a few hours, and base what you should do next off of your experience.
