What shall I do (Been Scammed) :(

Hey Guy's, im not too sure what to do :(

I have been scammed after buying the following account:

    http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=7321128#post7321128

The trade went really smooth and i thought everything was fine, i put members on to the account and everything :/

Then i tried to log in and the account had been recovered.

It cost me $18 over paypal and I really need the money back, i dont earn alot :(

So if anyone can tell me what i should i would be VERY grateful, can i someone how claim back the money, it was sent as a gift.

    Thankyou in advance, Oli :(

If you payed with a credit card, you could contact your credit card company and say you didn't authorise the payment.

First off go to the report a scammer section and report his ass.
    Secondly,
The thing with paypal is that you can easily charge your money back. Open a dispute on paypal and say that you didn't send him the money and that someone had accessed your paypal without your consent. they should refund you the money. Before you do this make sure that he did scam you so try contact him if after a few days he does not answer then just get your cash back.
Next time be more careful because cmon 18 quid for an account like that, when it looks to good to be true it normally is.

Oh and If the charge back doesn't work then just track the man down! =@

Nop dont worry this guide is how to claim and cancel. Thats a way of making sure that people do not charge back money its something completely different so ignore that guide.

If you paid via credit card, you can file a chargeback, which may take up to a month depending on the seller.

    sure m8
    Well its not to hard.
    -log onto your paypal
-go to my account and click the "details" link on the transaction that You had with him.
-then at the bottom of the page it should say something about a "resolution center" click that
-then tick the Unauthorized transaction box

Continue to fill everything outs it pretty self explanatory after that.
just dont mention the trade was for virtual items.

Once you have finished sending filling it out paypal will hold the money and eventually give it back to you its not gonna be immediate tho.

Is there any risk in doing this, because it says they have the right to investigate any kind of fraud :/ and my paypal account wasnt hacked, just the person scammed me :( or will they not check?

    Thanks alot for your help!

None at all, and iv had people charge me back for my money and scam me that way. after that i spent several hours on the phone to paypal and they made it pretty clear to me that there was no way i would keep the money.
Ofc if it was a large sum of money and the payment was for a real item then the person could contact police and stuff like that but i doubt he would go threw that trouble for 18$ lol. He also know that he is in the wrong as he recovered the account back so hes not entitled to the money anyway.

Ok matey, Ive done what you said and submitted it, but theres two problems? When i chose the transaction ID it said this transaction id is not valid? and also when i go to cases it says the case is closed? will it take a few days before it appears as an open case?
