What ruined runescape for you?(if anything)

What ruined it for me was when I started to buy GP after that the game wasn't the same!

 

Growing up.

 

EoC is by far the worst update... it makes the rest of the horrible updates look like nothing!

Anywho, there are too many reasons...

 

Nothing really 'ruined' it for me until EoC. I was furious with a lot of updates, but never to the point where I just can't stand to play the game. I guess it's not an update but the community is just appalling now, it's unbearably bad, the amount of assholes you encounter just playing ordinarily is ridiculous.
I probably only play 3/12 months in a year and every time when I come back I can play the game fine, but now, I can't really play at all.

 

Trade limit & wildy change back

 

EoC for sure, also hated when they took out free trade.
Seriously hate that they took out highschores for f2p. They want you to continue to pay if you want your highscores to appear, so that you cant retire and be know, which is sooo f-in stupid IMO.
Dunno what else, I'll have to sleep on it.

 

First was removal of Free trade and wildy, EoC is the nail in the coffin.

All friends quitting pretty much so I decided to quit as well. I also sold my main.

 

Botting on world of warcraft believe it or not, i quit rs to play wow and started botting there when i was asleep and such

came back to rs to play and thought to myself, grind stupid amount of hours per day by hand for a 99? yeah no ty.

And getting older, less time to play and I felt myself slowly loosing interest over the the years. Don't really play anymore, just got memories of the good days !

Nothing has ruined the game for me, but all the kids whining about eoc make it less enjoyable. I wish people would stop whining or just quit.

What is the deal with people not liking eoc anyway? Now we have more gear, we can do more damage, and the gameplay is not at all changed with use of momentum.

 

First it was trade limit and bounty hunter and stuff like that, but the game was still fun even with that.

EoC and other recent updates like payed spins and stuff finally ruined it for me - Jagex should realize that most of the players had relation to the game and to the comunity, making the game similar to WoW just because it's popular and making the game good-looking and easier and easier just to attract new players and get money from them is not the way IMO. It's too transparent. Maybe I'm wrong and this policy will really attract new players and ensure Jagex bigger income, but for me, this was really the biggest mistake that Jagex ever did.

 

Limited friends playing, doing things with them was my fun.

 

I suppose it was people that I cared for quitting.

Probably growing up, but i also cant stand the Eoc, makes the game unplayable.
