What pure to make?

I have a mage tank with 99 magic and 85 defence in polypore and its lots of fun but I would like something else. I also have a chaotic rapier 1 def pure and it's fun too.

Can anyone suggest me something else to make/bot?

Right now I'm thinking of creating:
- obby maul tank with 1 attack, 70 defence and 80+ strength. Anyone has any idea how it performs?
- pure ranger with everything else except ranged 1.
- anything else. what?

 

I'd love to have a range tank, I just don't want to put all the time into it.
They also seem to be very effective
