i wouldn't recommend c++ as a first lang it can be quite dificult at times, the easiest thing to do would be take a class on intro to programming they will teach you a syntax (rules for the language and uses) then from there it wont be hard to learn other languages, but if your dead set on learning a first language VB (i haven't programmed in it but my buddies say its not that hard) and it has a graphic user interface that you can design the layout of your programs to your liking

 

You don't need to learn C++. Don't talk shit. There's always Visual C# .NET Express Edition.

I knew VB and I started C#. I'm better now at C# than I am at VB. Did I know any C++ besides "cout"?

JAVA or SCAR. Easyyy... VB if you're intrested in maing an .exe file for Windows etc.. (I think)

 

You should learn PHP first because it's very easy to learn, then you should switch to Java when you have enough experience in programming because Java is more difficult than PHP, and if you want to create powerfull and fast applications for any OS then you should learn C/C++.

 

PHP has nothing/little to do with java... one is for dynamic web pages while you can make applications out of the latter

 

If you like runescape start with SCAR.

 

HTML was the easiest to learn in site making and C++ was easiest in robotix programming.

 

i would say scar, then once you nkow the basics like loops, vars, and all that move to delphi
