Possible to display multiple computers to one monitor?

So I have a desk with 6 monitors and I am wondering if there is any software, hardware that allows one monitor to display multiple computers at the same time as I have run out of desk room and any more monitors would become too much of a hassle to look and interact with.

Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: If you know of any 20inch or smaller 2560x1440 resolution monitors that would also help as I could fit more on my desk.

    Thanks!

    Can't be that easily done.

I'd just get an HDMI switch and change the input as needed.

You can always buy a motherboard that supports two CPUs and run two Xeons on it (I assume you're trying to run a ton of OSBuddies for obvious reasons)

Yes, use a KVM switch. I'm not sure the limit of them, but my university has three computers hooked up to a single monitor all over the tech lab rooms. After hooking them up, all you do it press a button to swap input to a different computer.

Thanks for the replies, the problem with a switch is that you can't display all computers at once.

I currently have 6 i7-4790's and 2 remote desktop i5's not sure how I would go about merging them together as they are all pre built pc's and not custom.

You can't merge i7/i5's, only xeons are compatible in a motherboard that allows dual CPU's

Oh, I apologize. Let me see if I understand what you are trying to accomplish. Keep in mind; you might not display them all at one time, but it is just one button click away from viewing another device.

    KVM Switch Explanation and Example:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izTW8WViW48

I believe you are trying to hook up multiple computers to a single monitor screen but have all of the computers displaying at the same time. Sort of like viewing a display in each corner of your screen, like this:

This is tough to accomplish with hardware, and I would suggest a software solution. There is many streaming software that can bring other devices to your monitor. Nvidia has a feature in this graphic card client that allows you to stream from one device to another. There is slight input lag, but it is not as if you are playing hardcore gaming on it anyway.

Now, I do not believe the Nvidia software would be a resource efficient way for your computer to be constantly running. In my memory, I can only think of one software suit that would work more efficiently, the infamous Teamviewer application. You might be able to do a little more research on this method and find a better software suite, or maybe other members of the community have alternative methods.

Yes something like your gyazo example is what I am trying to do. If I could divide my monitor into four different computers this would be most efficient. Teamviewer and streaming software is something I have thought about but the visual lagg is not something I would like to deal with. Any suggestions also some of my computers have basic graphics cards as they don't affect what I need my computers for.

i used to use this really cool software before they started charging for it.. It's called LogMeIn - https://secure.logmein.com/home

You would install the client on each of the computers you'd want to access.

You can then open multiple clients at once on your main computer and access each and everyone from the click of a button. You could have them all open at the same time and be able to access them as well.

It's pretty much like having Many Virtual Machines on one screen, except they are all your computers.

Honestly, for what you're doing I believe TeamViewer, logmein, or remote desktop is honestly your only real alternative. There's no way to physically manage multiple PC's from a single monitor without using a remote access, or a kvm switch.

Everyone always seems to think you have to stack monitors horizontally. You can do it vertically too: [IMG]

Otherwise you'd have to use software like Teamviewer like others have mentioned. I'm closing this just because every possible solution has already been posted.
