    What more can i lose?

that race, was everything to me. all my passion, for me it determined my will power, which was proven to be very weak.

lucky for me, i have another shot at the 800M. I'm going to work hard on it and hopefully i can go 2:10 which is a sigficantly great improvement from my current timing...

im never ever giving up again NEVER.

    What more can i lose?

Something I can relate to a lot!! :O
I was about 13-14 at the time, I was at a cross country race, quite a big one. It was for my school and there must have been about 250+ other people racing.
Now not to be big headed but I was very fast (won every race I ever ran in) and I never used to get out of breathe easily. So I was perfect for cross country not only did I like winning I just loved running.

Anyway back to this race, I was first all the way, I'd probably ran about 1 mile + ish now and not many people behind.
Next thing I know I start losing my breathe and I get a crushing pain in my stomach, I collapsed and people started running past. Obviously everyone was like WTF!? I could run for miles without any problems.

I ended up going to hospital, it turns out I had an asthma attack and I had appendicitis...
    How unlucky please?
I had to stop racing because of asthma but I kept jogging each day.
Now I'm pretty much back to my old self, I've beaten asthma :)
But now I have no time for cross country :(

    Enough about me..
If I can do it, you can do it.
I've beaten a disease (I think asthma is a disease) and an illness just because I love running.
By the sounds of things you do to, you'll be back on your feet in no time and be leaving those other people in the dust :)

inb4 infraction. If you haven't got anything worth saying, please stay out of this sub forum.

On topic : Keep your head up m8! I understand the feeling as I also didn't perform well at a National competition just last year. I was shattered, but I turned my frustration into motivation, and have excelled much since that happened. Keep at it!
