What makes a scammer scam?

Maybe they just think its funny that they are scamming someone coz the person who has been scammed gets all angry. I know i laugh whenever i see people posting threads in here about runescape saying "omg help me, i've been scammed!!"

 

Laziness. They just don't want to earn the RSGP themselves.

Greed. See Laziness.

Inability to Acquire PayPal $$. They can't afford the game items, or they don't want their parents to know about them buying game items.

 

That's why my irl friend used to scam on RS all the time, but mostly on RSC.. He has stopped his ways for a long time, but I remember him saying something to that nature.

 

I agree... somewhat.

I would get tempted to steal something if a price went really high... but then again... if a price in something I could steal went really high, I would think it was too much to steal...

and I LOLed at the topic owner, making it seem like he's never thought about it. I'm man enough to admit I have thought about it. I probably still do think about it

lol i saw someone so desperate before that he tried to scam a level 10 with 6 fm.

 

Everyone is a potential scammer. You might be one and not know.

Ok, people scam on the internet because

1) its very easy
2) you dont see the effects you cause and,
3) Theres no concesquence.

Now, Lets say someone said, Can you transfer 10m, 100m, whatever, to my other account? how many of you would be holding that money and think, you know what, il think il keep it.

Im sure if I went to the most honest runescape player and said, here hold this for 2 seconds, im sure none of them would give it back.

Tho this is different when where talking real life money, it takes a bastard to do that.

 

It's all to do with will power, I mean gaining something, I think like profit.


It's also to do with greed.

There just like people who don't get shit during life. There not spoiled quite the opposite acually..
