Well, I just sold my G mauler (50 attack, 61 strength) for 1m and I'm thinking about making another pk'er after I've made around 4-5m (From merchanting). However, I'm just not sure what type I would like to make. The thing is, i don't want it to be too expensive. I only want to spend around 3m on training, tops. I also don't want to spend a lot of time. That's why it's a low level pk'ing type thread thingy. Lol

Anyway, what I was thinking is something a long the lines of this
Obby Mauler (Made one, fucked it up... might make another)
Obby Mauler semi-tank (5 attack, 60+ strength and 40 defence.)
Low level Range staker/pker/ Dark Bower
God Spell Mage dude :D
G Mauler (This time I'll do quests so i can get Mith gloves and other things)
Or a combination of those

At the moment, I'm leaning towards the Obby Mauler. Mostly as i think they'd own staking. 5 attack, 60 strength with around 50 hp sounds pretty nice to me.

Anyway, I'd like your opinions.

Also, gimme some 'rare' types of pk'ers. Ones not seen very often.

hey michael this is britany the one u sold the G mauler to :D lol.. this is my more trusted acc i remembered the pass word finally ^^

yup ^^ And btw we nvr vouched for ea after the trade >.> idt did we?? cause britany doesnt hav ur vouch..

100k isn't a lot. Usually when I stake it's 500k+.

Still, I just had a G Mauler so I'm not sure.

m8 i got a ranger with these stats:
attack 2
strenght 63
defence 1
ranged 52
prayer 1
mage 50
hp 54
combat 38
maybe we can share it?

Yeah, Obby maulers don't do quite so well in the duel arena, as I discovered. However, I won about 10 stakes (Just an aproximation... never did much duelling on the account) when spec was turned off. Kinda hard to find people willing to stake spec off though.

I'm really thinking of going back and making another Obby Mauler, but this time I won't ruin it by getting 20 attack. Thinking of maxing out range on it (For the certain strength level, not 99 range). Using mage bow spec and then doing the rest with an obby maul. Should work well.

First I'll train range, though, so I can do a bit of f2p pk'ing. Won't win much, but it's good to take a break.

For a 'rare' type of pker, I know an EXTREMELY rare type (I saw it on the official RS forums at http://forum.runescape.com/forums.ws?47,48,572,52975174,goto,1). Get 99 Farming (you laugh now) and high attack but keep your attack and strength at one. Get high Ranged (d'hide and hp). Now do fairytale part 1 and get the secateurs (they operate off farming not strength) and own, hit 40s at level 30. It's a lot of work but isn't it fun to laugh at those ancients and obby pures as they suffer to gardening equipment.

If you're looking at going low level f2p pking you should either look at a range/mage pure (I started one of these but got bored and I found pure mages still owned me). Or do a mage pure, the combat levels are easily adjustable and you can hit high at a low level. Just get 30 mage using the highest combat spell you can and then use curse until level 55 and then high alch until 59. Use fire blast at level 34. You will have 21 hp-when you get to below 9 eat a lob and bang-straight back to full. Ranged pures may have d'hide by then but just keep casting and they should die. Melee pures should be hitting too high yet (no rune scimmies or less than 40 str) so just own them.

60 attack and 80 strength really isn't what I'm looking for. Whilst the combat is relatively low, it's still a lot of training and questing.
