Hi guys! I am looking for a medium-high end gaming laptop and have a budget of 1.5-2000 $$. What would you guys recommend?

Macbook pro, run bootcamp.

Win win win.

You meant to say "Lose lose lose" right?

This is the best Laptop I know for gaming right now, other than your own customized Alienware Laptop which has CrossFireX with two ATI cards.

I also have and hp laptop, the thing I hate about it was that it didn't last long. 1 year and the screen is coming apart... Never dropped it or anything

If you have 2,000 to put down for it, go for an Alienware m15x
