What kind of perks would give you more incentive to donate to Sythe.org?

Be nice to actually be able to donate $25 easily without having to wait days between responses.

I would also like an option to donate directly maybe using like BTC or coinbase commerce instead of having to use a third party since I don't meet the requirements for paypal yet ^^

 

I agree with this, it's too difficult to donate starting off...

 

Make it easier to donate with BTC is the #1, I know there's bondsmen who can accept BTC but in my experience it wasn't quick and let's be realistic if its not fast then you're losing sales.

The bond holders need to be updated. Some of them who still have stickys are not even active bond holders anymore. Also if someone is taking to long for replays, @Sythe should enlist some more or new bond holders.

 

I'd be encouraged if my donation rank wasn't hidden, lol.

First I would get some more MM's approved, and have one specifically on-call for donor's as a private list so they can have MM's on demand rather than waiting.

 

This sounds nice and I can imagine it being very helpful...but i dont think itd be nice for the MM if they arent getting anything in return since donations dont go to the MM

what if maybe beyond giving more privileges to high donors, not letting new users or not donors have gif avatar/banners

Name changes not being only for rich kids / massive traders would be nice asf. It was shot down in the past for no reason other than "well people paid 200 to get it already so blahh blah not lowering" but really you can add a muuuch better perk (think animated UIs or a custom minirank perk for 200+ donors) than.. a name change.

A forum I was on in the past had name changes yearly, all you had to do was submit an app and you could pick a name yearly. Think donors got changes every 6 months instead, but of course I still think name changes should be only for donors on this kind of site.

I would donate to the site - despite not being able to afford it atm - for sure if name changes were bumped down to like... 50 or some shit. Nothing too high or too low, it gives a nicer incentive imo.

Animated UIs like said on previous page would be a good replacement for the name change perk currently but idk. Just my thoughts, I'm just sad and salty I'm too poor to name change lol

Purchasable cosmetic items that show up under your name (I've seen this on other forums.)

Limited edition ones, animated ones, et cetera.

 

I personally think the $200 donation perk looks the coolest. Theyre really not that many members that have donated more than that though. Maybe being able to customize your text or background sorta like how Myspace let you do it with HTML5 generated code. That would be a cool throwback for some members, maybe even allow a song on your profile/page to really pimp out your store/vouch thread hahaha. call it "mysythe" or "sythebook" oh jeez. I need to shut up!
