What just happened (staking)

I just came back from 6 months away. I was doing dds staking. The guy I was staking against was doing 2 specs in a row without me doing my turn. Staked him about 10 times and he won all of them.

Is there some trick people can do to do this? I wasn't miss hitting or anything. The dude is somehow getting an extra hit, any ideas?

 

The way that PID has been done on OSRS is different, it's random every hit. Evidently his PID was better than yours, and he kept getting the first hit in. There has been a lot of discussion about it recently, it can really affect staking as it's got a bigger luck factor nowadays.

 

PiD is completely 50/50 now, so there is no more need for .8.0 VPNs on 07, or mass logging on EoC to bother with.
