Currently working full time until February, where I will go and do military service and afterwards The Police Academy.

Good luck with the military and police academy mate!

Thank you, though in Denmark military service is only 4 months (Afterwards you decide if you want to stay in The Army, get a contract and work there or part your ways and continue other ways.)

I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. My job prospects have been very positive and I've worked half a dozen internships already. I am going to graduate school because I want to get my doctorate so I can potentially teach / research at a University.

Haven't made it big yet money-wise but here's hoping. It's a lucrative field if you put the time and effort into it. I have no doubt I'll have a successful career if I keep working hard. Big struggle before you get there though. Mentally / financially.

Definitely a great field of work to get into with massive rewards , just need to keep working hard and it will be worth it.

For sure man. I got some pretty good full-time offers but after teaching for a year in between my junior and senior year (graduated this past May) I really got a passion for it. I definitely want to get my doctorate now while a lot of the material is still fresh in my mind and I don't see a use waiting. I was able to secure a full ride for it too, so all I have to pay for out of pocket are my living expenses/other bills.

So I'm doing well. Still a struggle, but on my way. Hope to be done with that in 3-4 years. If I can handle the student grind I will probably sign onto a full time job as well so that I can live more freely financially. Pretty tough to make ends meet with just internships. Luckily I was able to find paid internships.
