What is your earliest memory?

The title is pretty self-explanatory.

I'm interested into how far people can remember back and what they can remember about it.

My earliest memory is being 2 years old, in fact awfully apt for this time of year, was of Christmas eve. I'd been a 'good boy' this year ,although I can't remember why but I thought I hadn't , and as a result I was allowed to open a present early. It was a yellow bob the builder JCB, I think I was happy but I some became bored of toys at the age of 3/4.

Another one of the earliest memories was a few months later, it turned out I had pneumonia. The doctors said I had to get an injection. I remember balling my eyes out because they had an enlarged needle on the wall and I took that as actual size. :laugh: , but it turned out to be significantly smaller and it went okay. - I believe the reason why I'm completely indifferent about needles today.

 

Hmm i think it was also needle related. I believe i was getting a vaccine and even tho the needle was small i was going crazy trying to not get that shot. Pretty sure i was throwing my body around screaming n kicking hahaha. Another memory is when i was 2 or 3 i remember taking a bath and then sitting on the couch with a towel on and 1 of the neighbors cats walk into our house while mom was bathing my brother, and being wrapped in a towel couldnt move haha. So the cat walked near me and climbed up my knees and sat there. I never called my moms name so loud l0l.

 

I was climbing a fence, age 3, and fell landing my head upon an acorn and needing stitches.

But i for some reason remember when i was a very young kid and i was laying down and this white cat with black dots / stripes cat jumped to my lap :huh:

 

Shot myself with an air-gun. Still hurts :'(

 

Sitting downstairs in our basement watching tv and my mom brought me a tray of food. I think there was tunafish can't remember the rest. Hate fish now lol.

Also I remember one time where I woke up before my parents and couldn't speak. Ran downstairs and was trying to scream but I couldn't talk. I'd completely lost my voice lol.

 

Getting my diaper changed, diaper rash hurt like a MOTHER.

I think my earliest memory is 9/11. I lived in NY at the time and it was really emotional for my family (as it was for everyone else's). We had family in the city at the time that we couldn't contact and my dad wanted to go into the city to help because he was a medic in the military. I had speech therapy, so I remember my speech teacher calling my mom to say she wouldn't be there that day and for my mom to turn the TV on. My mom wouldn't stop crying, and she started packing for us to leave to Canada. It was pretty hectic: my mom wanted to flee to Canada, and my dad wanted to go right into the action.

 

Lmfao.

I remember pissing myself in first grade as well. It was at a party. I knew damn well what I was doing, but I had to go mayne. So I just let loose and peed right near the basketball arcade game. :nuts: :nuts: :nuts:

My memory is quite horrible and I can barely remember anything that happened over 10 years ago. I remember seeing 2001 twin tower attacks on news and that is pretty much earliest thing I remember and I have been 9 at that age so yeah, my memory just sucks ..

Edit: Looks like someone else had this as a first memory too but I don't even live in the US.

 

Eating a hamburger at mcdonalds with a friend and his dad and losing a tooth while eating.

My mouth just started gushing out blood, lucky I didnt swallow it. Was around 5.

 

Playing in the water at a hotel

 

I think like being really young and trick or treating

 

Getting into a cart my brothers and i had made and them pushing me down a hill and me breaking my leg.

I remember when I fell down while playing catching in the house, and I hit my forehead and bam cut my forehead a long straight line.
