What is your ACT test score?

I've never taken it... I'm more of an SAT guy, but the rest of you seem to fair quite well.

I also took the SSAT but I got 86th percentile for my age group.

I took the ACT once(scores actually came out a few days ago) and got 30.

Well, seeing as it's the SSAT, I don't go there YET, but I'm applying to a few similar schools.

Lets see if they like my grades though, I didn't do too well last year :/

 

I made a 25 both times I took it which kind of sucked. A lot of these people who say saying they made 35 and 32 have to be bullshitting. Scoring that high on the ACT gives you a lot of scholarship money. Also I've seen TERRIBLE grammar from some of the people who say they got high ass scores. So your only making yourself feel better.

 

People don't always try to have good grammar on a RS forum...
and they probably were in the SF anyways.

My best friend got a 31 on the first try, retook it and got a 36. If you miss like say 1 question on it, does it become a 35? You need a PERFECT SCORE to be a 36? I got a 34 on it, no lie. Didn't even prep, took a redbull (that bull testicle in the redbull makes me fly).

 

I honestly don't understand how everyone on here managed to get 30s and over. Of course, I never learned most of the material on it (especially with math, like trig and calculus), mostly I used educated guesses for those parts I didn't know about, but still. 30 is a very high score, and if you all did manage to get in the 30's, you should feel proud of yourselves. Colleges accept you with a score of 18+ most of the time, I got a 21. So apparently all of you are geniuses, or I never learned anything in school.

Not really. I just found out after high-school i've had ADD all along, probably the reason. I'm in college now and notice major improvement with my medication for it.

Plurality is the word you're looking for. Majority means >50%, plurality simply refers to the greatest

 

So what type of test is the ACT? Not from the US, but would like to know.

 

It's a college entrance exam here in the United States. It tests you over various subjects which include English, Reading, Mathmetatics, and Science and gives you a score out of 36. Also, the SAT is another college entrance exam you can take, which tests you on Critical Reading, High School Mathematics, and Writing.

 

I scored a 27. The school should have given you a act handbook to study...
