Thinking of making a DFS pure, any tips?

Lately i've been thinking of making a Defence/DFS pure, but i'm not sure if it's worth the months of training. Which type of monsters would i be training on? I also read a guide saying i should get a Fighter Torso and Fighter Hat, but wouldn't it take AGES to get one on an account whose only notable combat stat is Def?

 

Sounds like a fun build to invest your time in.

Monsters you'll be training on in this order:

Chickens > Cows > Monks > Rock crabs

Barb assault is easy, even with defense pures. In fact, you see them all the time there. You just need another attacker when you need points for the attacker role. The other roles should be easy.

 

Chickens for 2 hours
Monks 20-40 defense
Rock Crabs or cave bugs to 70, or continue with monks

 

You can also 6-hr afk at cave bugs with an event rpg.

 

This. Typically you can leech the attack portion for 1.75m or something along those lines.

 

Thanks for the help, guys. I heard seagulls offer over 6k xp/hour at a str bonus of +51 (that's when you start hitting 3's), however they require more concentration than say monks or rock crabs. Cave bugs are AFKable but their exp/h is rather abysmal lol, around 1k to 1.5k if i'm not mistaken. That would take me 1200 hours to reach my goal, or 50 days if i leave my computer on 24/7! Would the game still log me out after 6 hours if i were to lay something heavy on one of the directional buttons to make the game camera continuously spin around?

So far, it looks like i'd be training on chickens for the first 20 levels, followed by monks until 40 defence. Then either rock crabs (which are semi-AFKable) or seagulls (who are less likely to be AFKed but apparently yield more exp per hour.)

I wish botting was still a thing LOL

 

Yeah you'd still get logged out after 6 hours.
It's going to take you a while to reach the end goal since the xp rates are ridiculous, but with serp helm/dfs you're going to poop on pures.

I would highly considering joining "the def cc" its a def pure community, and they are extremely helpful in all aspects of making a def pure (owner is 1-1-99 with 99 pray and a fuck ton of 99s lol , search up "seditionist")

 

I tried a DFS pure and it took soooo damn long I gave up at 50 def. For sure try training at monks though.

 

Will do! Just finished Tutorial Island and bought me some membership. Only have to buy all of the supplies and amour and i'm ready for the long grind

 

I made an account , and train def and mage for 1 month+. str1, att1

now , i dont know if it worth time and money to get 99def, 99mage,99HP?

 

The end goal for dfs pures is 75 def.

 

How far did you get in the span of that month? To me, 75 seems plausible if you dedicate most of your free time to it. Or are you already 75 def and asking if you should grind it out to 99?

 

Currently 60 def, 70mage. I dont know if i should make it 99mage, 99def, 99HP. Because it has the same cb lvl with 99mage,99range,99def, 99HP.

 

When going to sleep or afking for a good amount of time do cave bugs as it's afkable.

 

If you are making that build, for sure get to 70 ranged. Then you can do chinning with "Long Fuse" which allows you to get 1/2 defense and 1/2 ranged XP (150+k per hour in both defense and ranged)

Otherwise, just defensive cast combat spells!
