What is the PVP trick?

The whole, 26k - 76k thing? Also, is it against the rules?

Jagex is trying to find ways of stopping the trick, just like RWTing

 

Yes they are working their asses of to stop but they cannot and you cannot be banned for it.

The trick is obvious.

You know how you get random drops, you can kill a guy in full rune and get like a dragonfire shield?

I haven't ever done it so i don't know the exact values, but i know how it works.

You get random drops in pvp but if you want to get any good drops like a dragonfire shield, your armour must be a minimum value. Hence the "76k" bit.

I think in p2p, your partner wears 76k in value. You kill him, and you possibly get something worth like 10m since the drops are random.

Then he takes a turn, so you take in 76k and let him kill you.

Therefore you lose 76k each time you try it, but theres a possibility of getter far greater worths.

 

Yes it is recommended that you have high drop potential though. You can get bull shit if you have 0 dp.

 

It's not against the rules.


Get a friend.

The person that dies, dies with 26k cash.
The person that kills him has to be risking at least 78k (cash/items, or 25k on f2p).

Repeat.

A higher "EP" (youll see this in pvp screen) will increase your chances of a better drop, but it drops everytime you kill someone that was risking at least 26k.

To gain EP, spend your time in a "hotspot" (in a pvp world there should be a flaming skull) while risking at least 78k (or 25 in f2p). It takes 2 - 3 hours I believe though for 100%.

Anyways, It's not Bannable. People have said it as Bug Abuse, But nah, it isn't. It's not a good money maker, As it's random drops, There's no Guaranteed Good Drop.
