What is the best portable mp3 player in your opinion and why?;) :) :D :o :(   :( :D ;) ;) ;) :) :) :)

One that plays music.

I like ipods. The headphones are pretty loud. And everyone else has em lol.

Anything that's a Zune, those things are the same price as Ipods and a lot better, wireless sync ftw.

I have had my cd player for 5 years, dropped it 10 times on concrete, and it still works perfectly. Best $30 I ever spent.

And is it just me, but I've been noticing this alex_strong guy has been making many random threads lately. And that HyperSteam ad in his sig raises some questions too. Hmm.

yeah he's making a lot of dumb threads trying to get his post count up...but anyways... I would say that the Ipods are awesome...only ive never used a zune so i wouldnt know

I-Pod 30gig - Great for videos, songs, and pictures. Holds up to 100,000 + pictures and 7,500 songs.. 60 hours of video, which is like 30 movies! This is all at about an affordable price of 150-250 USD.

Zune - Excellent quality. About 7,500 songs and 100,000 + pictures, but the video quality is best for these. The screen is a 2.5 inch (main zune) and it is great for trips! (I recommend)

Zen - I have a 30 gig Zen, it sucks. It is hard to get music onto and the programs are extremely confusing. The good things are that it holds 15,000 songs! It holds 120 hours of video and 200,000 or more pictures! Quality is great!

Out of all of these, I prefer the Zune or I-Pod. If you want to have easier access to getting music with a variety, get the I-Pod. If you want better quality and people saying that its unique, get the Zune. No matter what you pick, its a win win situation.

Good luck!

Any type of iPod, Just because its not that expensive and holds the right amount of songs...

Seriously who needs 10.000+ songs... I mean wow... seriously.. lol

Ipod Touch. Easily. its mp3 player, video player, Internet. ok, it is the shit. but quite expensive for a mp3 player :P

I have a ipod classic 80 gb but I think the ipod classic 160gb is the biggest of all the mp3 players.

i have a rather new phillips, looks like a ipod nano, BUT.
i must admitt, nothing at the market can compare to Ipods becouse of all the extra equipment you get to them. They also have great sound, easy menu's, and good space.

to bad everyone else has one ;/ gets a bit monotoneus...

i say the 160gb ipod clasic is the best because you can put all that music on it with out worrying about running out of space for more music.
im stuck with a crappy 1gb flash drive mp3 that i got for 15 bucks....lmfa0

Imo, as in general. I prefer zunes, wireless sync and no iTunes. iPods are a failure and advertising whores.

Zune 80 easily, don't get an iPod.

If you want one with flash memory, you really should check out the reviews for the newest Sony Walkman players (I have an A818 and it's just great but the latest models are slightly better), AMAZING sound right out of the box and sony stopped that sonicstage crap just fyi (you can just drag+drop songs and videos or sync it with programs such as windows media player).

But the ipod classic now comes with up to 160 gb, I dont think anyone can beat that.

erm
i pod nanois he best..
and all mp3's are portable..
