Is Goldfarming Worth It?

I've made probably 10 accounts in a time period of a month, all of which have been banned. I've gotten a VPS, proxies, paid scripts, took breaks on all of them, but still they get banned. I've put more money in than I have gotten out.

I was thinking about just getting into the account making business and selling pures, mains, etc.. It seems much safer getting a one time payment then having 10 bots and trading the profit off of each of them.

Thoughts on this?

 

Like you said if your getting banned all the time its not worth it. I had a farm that made me 2M an hour when gold was $2/M which I was happy with. My accounts didnt get banned until around 1 week later so I made about $200 considering I didnt run them very long a day. Private scripts are the main way to go although I used a paid script from topbot. I am not leaking my method although its probably finished by now.

Basic things to ask yourself when goldfarming.
1. Time to set up and the cost (Membership, gold to level accounts or payment to powerlevelers)
2. How long they last goldfarming (Banned quickly?)
3. Did you make money or cut a loss?

If you make money (even slight) keep trying or make more accounts.

Most bots dont last long now so suiciding seems to be how most people attempt it now which is unreliable profit.

If you cant find a method that works, then selling accounts is probably more benefitial.

I'm not sure if I want to risk gold farming anymore, I feel that making accounts to sell would be easier to profit off of, instead of buying membership for 10 accounts, and hoping they don't all get banned. I'd rather give one account membership and supplies and risk it getting banned for minimal botting.

 

Gold farming is worth if you know what you're doing, I know this one guy from PB is making 4k a month gold farming, it's a lot of money.

Go check him out for inspiration. He has made $10K this summer alone from goldfarming and he shows proof of it. Not sure I can link offsite here.

 

Yeah this can be a good idea.

Keep in mind you will be able to sell the accounts for far more if you are trusted.

And also to frequent much less trained areas. It will always be worth getting 30k xp instead of 50k if you don't get reported and banned

I had a pretty successful bot farm when gold was $3/m but I had the opportunity to set it up again but with gold price as it is, it really isnt worth the time and effort.

 

It can be worth it if you know what you're doing. Obviously you used a script that was highly detectable. Try using a script that doesn't have a high ban rate. It's all about trying it out, and learning from your mistakes. Believe me every gold farmer has been banned many times. It takes practice, and patience. Jagex really has their game up when it comes to banning bots. It's much harder goldfarming prices these days as gold is at all time low and ban rates are at a all time high

Yeah since gp prices are so low and ban rates high, not really advisable unless you have a private method with a decent amount of bots running.

 

looking at the price of runescape gold compared to USD, 07gp has significantly dropped in the past few month. I attempted to sell accounts by using topbot and a free aio fighter script from it and it worked perfectly until I was banned. I had round 50 att,str,defence, just from using a free script and not to mention i was a f2p. Im sure that if you buy membs, and use a paid sript that the chances of the account being banned will drop. I would suggest you to go 70/70/70 ad then NMZ to 99 then sell the account.

 

If you know what you're doing then yes, but if you're new that expect to spend a decent amount of cash to get things right through trial and error.

 

I believe if you are smart enough and have the patience/tolerance levels to cope with being constantly banned and making constant losses then you can do it, if you keep trying then eventually you'll work your way up and figure out the best ways and most profitable. People can't really tell you what to do..

 

I use to goldfarm, a lot ... It's not really worth it anymore. Unless you want to go with all the stress.

 

IMO, gp farming is worth it unless you lose more than you actually make..

 

ofc. It's worth it. That's why these big goldfarmers are still doing it. LOL

 

I have 12 bots running atm, and will have 30 by the end of the week. It's all luck I guess but I've been doing pretty well so far and expect to make 400M 07 by the end of the week

 

If this isn't a proprietary method, you will have a little beginners luck but fully expect your farm to be banned in under 2 weeks.
