what is 8 realms?

I just got an email on my private email saying I have VIP access to 8realms with a exclusive key. Anyone else get it?

 

Phish. I have received many of them.

It's a phish, obviously. I wonder how they got your private msn, though.

 

I have received a legitimate one from jagex.

 

I'm kind of confused. Is this real or what...



I've never heard of this game or any of this ...

 

It's my private email. Connected to my main rs account, that only I and friends/family know.

I dot even use it for msn. It's emailing family and work/ school stuff.

I think I applied awhile back to test it, so idk if it is from
That.

It's real . It's one of JaGeX's new games they're still developing . I think they e-mail you keys to beta test it .

Judging on the screenie you posted, that looks real mate. Jagex is probably just dishing out some access keys so people can test out the Beta version of their new game.

Just be weary about those e-mails in the future, cuz guaranteed the phishers/scammers are going to take massive advantage of these e-mails and start duplicating them and connect it to getting your RS password somehow.
